I dont care what anyone says, Denver was the right side here. 75% on Indy and the line doesnt move one bit. The house lost big on this game. Indy was a square play and the squares cashed.
That statement is innacurate. Like I said before in this thread, Denver's secondary has played fine with the exception of that POS Darent Williams! He is by far the absolute worst cornerback in the NFL. He singlehandedly gave Indy the game.
SQUARE PLAY?? LOL
IF YOU THINK THAT VEGAS GOT MORE TOTAL MONEY ON INDI THAN THEY DID ON DENVER YOU HAVE YOU ARE WRONG- I CAN ALMOST GUARANTEE YOU THAT VEGAS MADE OUT ON TOP IN THIS GAME BECAUSE THEY WERE GETTING HEAVY ACTION ON DENVER DESPITE WHAT THOSE CONSENSUS SIGHTS SAY

there is no square side when youre talking about two of the best teams in the nfl. the game ended on a field goal, which shouldnt be a huge surprise.
Cant say I disagree with this, but everything I saw all week was baiting people to take Indy... By the line, ect.
square schmare,
most of you guys just look at percentages. they mean absolutely NOTHING. It only matters where the money goes. you can have 80% on the colts and 20 % on the broncos and still have more money on the broncos. for example 80 $100 bets and 20 $1000 bets means much more exposure for the "house" on the broncos. what you really need is percentage of money on each side and no book is going to publicly put that out there.
percentages mean squat. yeah, they are an indicator, but don't move a line. money does that and very few people know where it is, myself included for the most part.

I totally agree with you, and theres no possible way to figure out how much money is going on those teams only a % of the bets. However, since that is the best information available to us, analyzing it can't be all bad. Personally, I think using those % works better for the NCAA but it can help in the NFL too.
