Thanks dude, Im going to need it. In the last 2 weeks Ive gone 7-7 ATS combined in college and pro. Just cant seem to get a leg up. My handicapping is design to not lose ,not so much to win big. It just gets frustrating after 2 or 3 weeks not getting ahead, but Ive gone through this a thousand times...........III make a big run sooner than later.

Don, you will get on a run. I had a huge Saturday so I will be taking it easy this week. I was surprised at the MD line, but I have not jumped on yet. MD's defense against the run is a serious concern in this game. Their middle linebackers have been a disappointment so far this season and they are giving up a lot of yards. Now they go on the road against a pissed off Clemson team. MD has a tradition of playing well there so I do think 17 is very generous. The MD team is very high right now and Ralph has them believing they can win the ACC. If they can get off to a good start and keep the game close early, I think this will be a winner. I think I have only missed one MD game this year, I am sure the line will come down some, but as usual, I am going to wait a couple of days. I am leaning hard to Louisville on Thursday. I think West VA defense will be exposed. Good luck this week!

Bason, I watched the Maryland game and thought about your side in that contest the entire game........just shaking my head in disgust for not listening. Oh, a belated happy birthday! I like the Terps alot this week! I dont care how pissed off Clemson is. This Maryland team is very well coached, and never rolls over. I like Miami alot this week too. Dont believe Vah-Tech will have much success running the ball........and wouldnt look for them to beat Miami on the road through the air.I really like Colorado St. though, they will keep this one much closer than people think. Theres afew other lines Im watching, If LSU moves to a dog that could spark some interest.

Thanks, it was one hell of a day and night. Tailgating for the game was brutal, the wind was blowing like crazy, but enough Bourbon will cure anything!

Going to take your advice on Colorado St. Not sure about Miami yet, I went with them Saturday and was disgusted with their play in the second half.

I may have a couple good ones for you tomorrow.

Don, curious as to your opinion on the North-
western game. With what they went thru this
summer, I don't think any opposing coach is
going to want to lay the hammer down on this
team. Just curious. +17.5

Edit, I think NW can hang with Iowa long enough
in the third and fourth quarter so that when it
comes to the final minutes, the Hawkeyes will
lay on it. If that makes sense.

Krammer, I agree. In light of everything that has happen, dont believe Iowa will run it up. Nonetheless, dont have much to offer on that particular play. Im really big on Maryland, Col St., and Miami. Got my eye on acouple others, but waiting on some favorable line movement.

Don,

Love reading your stuff and have tailed you quite successfully this year. Wondering why you love the Rams so much? Just fits into your system?

Seems to me Cover U (aka BYU) is back and if they get out to a quick start, as they have done the past few weeks, CSU will be out of their element and unable to catch up with their run dominant style.

Love to hear your thoughts.

I was on Illinois last week, and heavily considering them this week......27 seems to be too much on the road going against a young and eager Illini team.....Minny gift wrapped 21 pts for Ohio St LW......i could see a 38-14 final at worse, Illini had psu on the ropes on the road and blew the win and had wisky on the ropes on the road last week and blew the win............am i saying Ohio st compares to them....no.......but they are now home and this young doesn't know any better but to stick it to anyone and not backdown....Juice williams brought spark to this team and I think he'll be able to gain some yards on the ground and keep this game within the #.......ohio st is human right? they are due for a humble performance with michigan looming

Pops your absolutely correct, my database calls for me to make this play. Col St. has been a formidible home dog throughout the years and has surprised more than once in this role. BYU has been scary vs the number this year, but linesmakers are going to catch up with this team trust me. Nobody will want to back the Rams this week. III probably have to buy back my bet and move to anther book to get a better number before the weeks up.

Don, here is what I came up with for now: Indiana, Ok, LSU, Fla St and I have totally flip flopped on the Thursday game. I am now on West Virginia (this will change if they are favored by Thursday, but I do not think that will happen). The more I dug into this last night, the more I like West Va.

I know you hate favorites, but OK comes up really strong for me this week. A&M is a fraud, their luck will run out. I think OK wins by 2 TDs. Also LSU is worth a look, everything points against them in this game and they are hanging in as the favorite. That line is begging for TN money. Indiana is a pure momentum play, they are playing strong while Minny is falling fast. I like them to win this game outright. Fla St is the weakest of all, and I know there is no way you would play them, but I have a feeling they will dominate UVA this week. And I am definitely with you on Colorado St and I will look at Miami later in the week.

I had a great week last week, so maybe I am due for a loss, but I only focused on a few games for that reason.

I am gone until Friday, so I will check in them.

Don,

Appreciate the analysis. Was getting ready to load up on BYU...may have to sit back and watch it play out. Hate to go against your system, because i know it is ready for a break-out weekend.

GL!

Dice, I think your on to something! I was typing my reply and the power went out and my PC went down, thank god it gave me time to research your side. I did learn Illinois is 15-4 ATS vs Ohio St. Teams installed as a 21pt dog or more last year were 15-10 against the number..............and Illinois is fantastic when catching 3 TDs or more..........let me get back with you, I gotta do some troubleshooting, I may be with you on this one.

Bason, I concur on the A&M play but I rather have someone come over and do dental work from my backside through my ass before I bet a favorite. I just cant bring myself to do it. I equate betting favorites to having gay prison sex..........I just cant do it, I rather die..HA, HA. Yeah, I got my eye on LSU, If it goes to a pick I think III make a stand. I really am trying to make a case for Illinois. Dice brought this game to my attention and normally I just shrug it off when people talk of games that are not in my database, but my PC went down and it gave me a chance to look into it and now Im really starting to get excited about this game. Illinois +27 at home against a team their 15-4 ATS since 85!!!!!! I gotta go crunch some numbers.

Wondering if you had any thoughts on Bama-MSU? I don't see how Alabama will cover that spread. Our offense continues to struggle and did so last week against FIU. We got a punt return TD and an Int TD. Also we scored late with all second and third stringers in the game. At the half it was only 10-3.

Alabama, I hate to say, has a lot of offensive problems that make me believe we will have a hard time covering this spread. Your thoughts would be appreciated and thanks for your write ups each week.

Bama, personally I love the tide, but seldom bet them.I just like the tradition of their program. I live here in the North Shore of New Orleans and I pass by this house that flys a Auburn banner and I scream out my window ROLL TIDE ! They always shoot me the finger, I just laugh, f@@k them. Look, cant trust MSU for nothing. I think there are better spots on the board. Take a look at afew of my sides........Im get ready to unload my big 10 upset of the pick of the decade!
