them down - it is alot of points but USC is pissed - and they are playing a Stanford team that cannot score - I see it 48 - 3.

They won't.

SC will try & impress by beating a hapless Cardinal squad by 40+.

It doesnt mean a thing. SC is still vastly overrated this year.

well said pt1gard

Stanford is one of the easiest teams to bet against this year in all of college because they are just sooo bad, but SC might be even easier to bet against because they are sooo overated. I just dont thik this is a good game Stanford could lose by 50 or make it a good game just as easily.

You may want to look back over history and see how teams respond after a major (pretty big) upset. You would think that they would be pissed, or fired up, but I remember quite a few occasions thinking the same thing and getting burned.

They know their season is basically over (from a NC perspective). Do the pull a mich state and just roll over?

Stanford simply has to win the turnover battle and play a clean game, and that is impossible to do against a PC coached team, I mean just ask OregonState. :moon: :mj15: :s5: :chairshot :poke

I am waiting for a report on how things went at "Turnover Tuesday" and "Special teams Wednesday" before making an analysis of this one.

The way I see it it USC is pissed - they may be over-rated but they are playing stanford - who cannot score - cannot play defense - and has to be pretty down to be 0-8. They allow over 250 yards per game rushing as well.

USC has a ton of young talent and I believe they have been sleep-walking the last 4 games as they are just taking for granted that they always win - look who they blew out the first 2 games Arkansas - Nebraska.

They definately will come out and take full throttle and they will not pull a Michigan and not blow them out when they can - they will definately make a statement that they are a top 5 team by the classic 48-10 or 56-3 score.

Look at what LSU did to Kentucky after a loss - result 49-0.

Just a good set up for me as the lines these days are getting very tight.

I somehwat like SC as well here dogreen, like Tulah said its either SC or nothing

BUT if SC was playing anybody but stanford they would be an automatic fade. I think they will blow stanford out because PC is a classless prick when it comes to letting up on teams. But they could beat stanford by 70 and it wouldnt move SC higher in anybodys polls. Those that think SC is a top 5 even after this last run of games will still think they are top 5 team. Those who dont think SC is top 5(most of us) wont be fooled by a stnford beating, unless of course you throw half the pac that already beat stanford in the top 5 as well.

GL on the play as I think SC covers, but last time I thought that they lost outright so what do I know.
