A pure DDRD play is when a double digit rushing dog averages more rushing yards a game than their opponent + has less rushing yards against them than their oppenent + is a double digit dog

There are no pure plays this week that I could find
but here are two that look interesting.

Ark ST +31 rushes for 162yrds to auburns 161yrds and give up only 13yrds more than auburn does at 120, So for 30 points and pretty close to being a dd rushing dog play, it is something to consider, Auburn is also 1-5 ats last 6 games.

BG +9 avg 193 yrds to Akrons 82yrds:scared and they only give up 6 more yrds than akron at 130yrds allowed on d. Again not a pure system play but something to consider, especially after BG just lost to Temple line might move to 10 on public perception.

bowling green statistically kicked the shit out of temple and has outrushed almost every opponent this season.

stupid mistakes are absolutely killing this team though.

look at the temple game.

bg had 27 first downs to 12
outrushed them 249 - 94
outgained them in total offense 407 - 256

any normal team would have won by 14+ against temple with those numbers.

but bg lost outright by 14.
how? well ....

* they got a punt blocked that led to a temple TD
* they missed a redzone chip shot FG
* they fumbled on the temple goal line
* they allowed a 96-yd kickoff return for a TD

so the temple game was a fluke, right? well, maybe. bg is obviously better than temple. but they made the same back-breaking mistakes against central michgan to blow the cover there as well. bg did more than enough offensively to cover.

but ....
* they allowed the opening kick to nearly be returned for a TD and then allowed the TD one play later
* they had a 8-yard punt that set up another score
* they threw an INT that was returned for a TD
* they had 1st/goal at the 5 before stalling and then missing a gimmie field goal.

needless to say, this team is very difficult to cap right now. theyre moving the ball up and down the field offensively. but breakdowns in all three phases of the game are killing otherwise good performances.

to make them even tougher to cap, now theyre talking about making the switch from turner to sheehan (a true freshman) at quarterback.

thanx blg,

really appreciate your efforts on this thru the year

be careful with arky st, those bastards cost me end of nice 3-teamer, 26 rushes for 6 yds @ FLAT

take care

Thanks for the kind words pt1, I have yet to decide if I want to play arky st. - They were a winner as a ddrd two weeks ago against memphis though. Auburn is a whole other animal - Anyone who can cap SEC consistently has much respect from me, because how a auburn team can almost lose to ole miss gives me alot of hope for arky st.

Thanks for the input gman - really rolling the dice if I back BG, but I will wait and see what your take on the game is

I think Ark St might be a decent play.....30+ points is a lot for a team that can run the ball. It doesn't fit both sides, but I'll play it for small.....that's the best the system comes up with this week.

Both of these covered last week, not that they were pure system plays, but more that they fit the idea behind the system.
