don,

was curious on your Canes pick ... they have played brutal rd. sched, but even when they played Duke with all their dudes sitting (im not even sure how many studs) they only won by 5--and their only rd win, so I guess that one's hard to cap ... I liked what i saw in terps vs clemmy, that was no fluke, maybe a letdown vs Canes, but dont terps have a ton to play for? ... Kramden/Fridge II used to impress me as damn good coach too ... now hes back at it ...

arky st back home after getting abused for 2 weeks might be good play

thanx

PT1, I know MIA seems like an oddball selection but I really like this game. Everyone in the ACC has elected to write this team off and I believe they will try to close this season strong and possibly get a bowl. If it was so easy, Vegas wouldnt have hung such a short number. I really like this Maryland team, had them + the points this weekend but not in this spot.

SUN TZU, its that time of year were the sleeping giants walk into the trap. We saw it 2 weeks ago vs TX-TECH. I called for an outright upset Saturday with Illinois +27 and believe me they played well enough defensively to win that game. Michigan certainly had their hands full against Ball St. in the Big House. Kansas St. is a team thats starting to gel under Prince and understand the system he is trying to implement. Texas does not impress me and since the game with Nebraska, which they should have lost, their looking pretty vunerable. If Im right next time Im in H-Town you owe me a drink at Ricks Cabaret and you got to buy me a table dance in the VIP room.

In what way does Texas not impress you? Can't expect any team to blow out opponents week in and week out...but they have young QB who is able to finish games and get the W.

Dude take your rose colored glasses off, If you cant see it, I cant show you. With the level of talent they have.........yeah I do expect them to blow people out week in and week out. They didnt win that Nebraska game, the Cornhuskers lost it. UT didnt cause that fumble, the NEB player just lost control of it. Than in Lubbick they get behind a TX-TECH team they should have run roughshot over. Kansas St. is becoming a dangerous team and if TX thinks their going to line up against a cupcake and does not adequately prepare for this game they might find themselves in a real fight. McCoy is on his way, Im really impressed with the freahman. Next year he will be dangerous and TX can start thinking National Championship, but this is the time of season were it gets tricky. TX looks very complacent to me and doing enough to just win will come back to bite you in the ass.............especially on the road. Dude Im not some kind of TX hater, I lived in the Lone Star state for 17 years between Dallas and Padre Island...........In fact Im wearing a HOOK em HORNS shirt as I type this....HA, HA. Just being objective, this team is ripe for an upset. I dont think they will even win the Big 12 Championship, I dont think they get past NEB or OK again.

I may still be wearing my rose bowl-colored glasses, but really just wanted your take. I have probably made more money betting against the Horns than any other team in ncaa fb. I think they are definitely vulnerable.

thanx don, i was leaning towards betting terps pretty good -2.5, i might pass now if you feel that strongly ... i hate canes OFF, and yes on paper they seem to have more HS blue chip talent, but Coker like Joepa and Bowden should really look into the infomercial world or golf course ... Im not sure what Canes have left to play for, so that would worry me placing spondulix on them ... Fat man took terps out of nowhere once again and had fine season ... but after that clemmy game, my prime concern is a flat spot ...

So the Okie St win wasnt impressive for you? That "high-powered O" scored 3 pts on the Horns.

Fact of the matter is they won the game in Lincoln & they won the game in Lubbock....just as they will win the game vs K-St.

Is K-St gelling cause they beat 1-9 Colorado & 3-7 Iowa St?

SIMON,you act like Im talking about your mother or something, dont be so emotional. A car accident happens on the corner and 3 people saw it............and everyone has a different account. Lay the 18pts than I dont care. Im not here to debate people, its futile.........Im always right.

I am not emotional at all....& no one is talking about 18 pts.

We are talking about a SU victory. Thats what you are claiming for K-St, correct?

Way to dodge the facts. :nono:

Dude--Step back and take a close look at this game--I was at the K St/CU game--K State has good up and coming QB--but a below avg Def--CU can not score but moved the ball well againt K St. I see Texas covering this spread. I think Texas has next week off so will go all out this week and K St has arch rival Kansas next week and if I remember right I think Kansas has won the last 2??

I watched K-State play last weekend and Freeman is becoming a stud @ QB. However, he's not facing the little sisters of the poor this week (Iowa State & Colorado are pitiful). I would lean towards K-State with 17 as that is a ton @ home under the lights, but you are throwing money away taking K-State on the ML.

No ,Im not taking Texas ML. Look Im going to let it go like this,....................had Illinois last week +27, and got the same response when I called for the outright upset, and defensively, they played well enough to win that game. I see the TX/KU game in the same context. This team is ripe for an upset based on how they have been playing on the road as of late. I am 50-31 ATS combined in college and the NFL.............so dont question me. You people dont even post your records YTD because your losing on a week basis. If you think its an absurd pick so be it, I make a living by being obnoxious. Go pay a tout for his GOY, go dial 1-900-LOSE. I guess in the minds of the squares, those guys must know better. They run services, they live in Vegas, they must be successful. You people dont even know who the f^^k I am. I guess Im just some guy on the internet running his mouth. A guy could be hitting 80% over 200 plays and you people would still be questioning him on his opinions.
