The more I'm analyzing this game the more I'm making a case for RU.

RU ranks 2nd in total defense @ 227 ypg, 16th in rushing D, 2nd in passing D.

RU +8 to's over UL

UL 203 Rushing ypg,RU 193...both teams can rush .

Schiano was commentating on UL / WVU game and surely made some notes, and his players have had extra time to prepare, and are home to what could be an over-confident Cardinal team.



Can the #2 Passing D stop the #7 passing offense? I'm thinking they will cause a lot of havoc.

Vegas hung an opening line of 5 out there and knows they will get plenty of UL money, you might see this go as high as 7 by gametime. Do you believe the books will allow themselves to get middled so easily.

This game reeks of the so called TRAP!

This is a different Rutgers team than many of us are use to knowing. They have a great coach,they have solid talent, they have a solid running game and they can play defense every bit as good as Louisville and imo better. Rutgers will be ready for all that Louisville can bring with 2 weeks to prepare. I expect a super effort from a very well coached Rutgers team with very good talent on both sides of the ball. I also think it will be hard for Louisville to get jacked up like they were 7 days ago against WV , very hard to get it cranked back up in such a short time. If Rutgers avoids turn overs I think Louisville is in trouble. GL to all!
