I haven't shaved off my mustache in 21 yrs.Three of my own kids have never seen me w/o it.
so the rutgers-Louisville game isn't as important as I make it out to be.
Go Class of 2007....the line is -3.

:scared :scared

Good Luck!

Box -- Agree with you on all counts on this game. We both know this is an NFL dominated region of the country, and the hype machine of the Northeast is treating it as such. You guys should hear the people around town hyping Rutgers -- telling me they must be great "they are undefeated." It's an NFL mentality, no concept of SOS or other factors, just records. Actually had someone in the gym tell me I was nuts because I said that Rutgers would get stomped by the teams that left the Big East, especially when I said they'd lose by double digits in a place like Blacksburg. His reasoning was, "they are 7-2, we are 8-0." Sound logic.

Anyway best of luck, I'm with you on this one, Rutgers does not have a win in the past 30 years that makes me believe they can hang tonight. If they get the job done I'll be impressed, but I need to see it first.

I like L'ville this week for the same reason I liked them last week.
Very balanced offense going up against 1-dimensional offense.
The biggest thing that worries me is that they knew WVa was going to run and for the most part still couldn't stop it. Mountaineers stopped themselves with fumbles.

But Rutgers isn't WVa either. White/Slaton combo is dam tough to stop. Its like a spread form of Neb's run game from yesteryear.

I'm going to play L'ville straight up and also play a teaser with L'ville/OVER.

Blackman, you are referring to an average joe(homer) who catches a game here and there and probably someone who doesnt even bet...... of course they are gonna say some off the wall stuff......but if you go outside of Jersey and that area, you hear "Rutgers has no shot", "They are a fraud", "louisville is gonna murder them" and that seems to be the majority of public opinion

rutgers covered last year against asu in the bowl game....lost by only a few points.

Then I agree with the masses I guess. Don't see them being able to keep up offensively.

i honestly thought rutgers might fold after scoring and then getting kicked in the nuts on that k.o. return......and then falling even farther behind.......

might be that it really was very hard for louis. to sustain for 60 minutes after the big win last week...

but,got to give the knights credit...that "d" showed mucho heart....

you gotta be happy for that program...
