line re-opens at 6.5 -109 for ohio st. No idea what the beginning of the year line opened at. Doubt anyone here bet it. But regardless, waiting for the 7. Will buy if half too. Probably will. Can't imagine this game being bet lopsided. No total or moneyline yet. Would have to guess 41 or so for the total.

ND/Rubbers also up at condoms -6 -104. Already bet them. Can't imagine this line going down.

normally you and i seem to agree on a lot of games and our approach seems to be similar. cant say i agree with you here though. osu at anything less than 10 is a bargain. grabbed pinnacle's (-7) (+105) yesterday. michigan wont be the team to knock off or hang with osu. wait until the national championship game to fade the bucks. i gotta think the total is 45 or 46. osu brings too much offense to the table to have the total that low. penn state/michigan and wisky/michigan had lines around 41. dont think we'll see that for ohio state.

With ya bleeddodgerblue....Gman, I don't see how you can say, anything under 10 is a bargain and that Mich can't hang with them....I really think you are underestimating Mich as team and have them confused with last years team.....have fun with your bucks play

no confusion, and not underestimating michigan at all. simpy dont have them as one of the top 4 teams in the country. ohio state is beatable. just not by michigan. to beat ohio state, you have to score. and im just not convinced michigan has the offense necessary to do it. their (the michigan) defense is very solid. but michigan hasnt found an answer for smith the last two years and im not convinced they are going to do it this year. very much feel that osu at anything less than 10 is a bargain. bucks could lose SU to the right opponent in the title game though.

michigan had the game won last year with a much worse outfit before they let it completely slip away. they have been playing possum for several weeks now, showing nothing, direct runs with hart and co. do not see ohio st. as an invincible outfit as many on here seem to, more than a handful of teams could take them down. for me this matchup is a relative wash.

jumpin this post for my 2cents

ohio st is hands down the best team in the nation. i am not an oh st fan but they will stick to michigan and again stick to whoever in the title game. they will win this game by double digits. the only way this is a close game is if oh st coughs up the ball....... a lot.
good luck on your plays
oh st 35 mi 14 prediction

like i said, osu isnt invincible by any stretch. i just dont see michigan being the team to exploit their weaknesses. what you said about the game last year is true however michigan was the recipient of a couple of osu gifts that handed them great field position in the 1h. for most of the first two quarters, the wolverines had < 100 yards of total offense. turnovers and mistakes are part of any game. but michigan didnt do a whole lot offensively last year in this game. and they still have yet to find an answer for troy smith since he has been at qb for osu. obviously this um defense is different but smith and the osu offense is a machine right now.

louisville loses by 14 or so. wouldnt be a blowout but certainly wouldnt be a true national championship. the underdogs who pull upsets traditionally do it with defense (oklahoma over florida state, ohio state over miami). louisville's defense is much better than they showed against wvirginia. but the cardinals still wouldnt be able to keep the game w/in single digits. wouldnt be an ugly game. wouldnt be a national title gm either.

Interesting point you make about upsets happening via defense. Ummmmm, doesn't Michigan have a pretty stout defense??? Probably not as good as Illinois, but a good one.

This game is going to be a tough one for both clubs. Take the points.

obviously i was talking about national championship games, as evidenced by the games referenced and the question being answered.

ive got nothing but respect for michigan. very good team that is fundamentally sound. ohio state isnt going to just show up and win going away. but i dont think michigan can win on the road in columbus unless they plan on scoring 24+. and i couldnt feel comfortable with them doing that. this is the year michigan needed to be playing in ann arbor to level the playing field. the task would still be tall but i think you could make a much better case for michigan covering there (and the line would be more in the 3 or 3.5 range). but they have to play a near perfect game in all phases to stay within 7 of osu in columbus imo

My book does not have this line yet so I was wondering if anyone can post an "updated" line.

Has the line gone to 7?

Thanks in advance.

it was ohio state (-7) (+105) a few days ago. now its ohio state (-6.5) (-109). more or less the same line. got a piece of the (-7) and a (+105) return.

pinnacle has that up along with usc (-5.5) (-109) over notre dame

Was in Vegas last week and line was 8 at Mandalay SB as well - seems like a huge middle opp they are leaving with the OSU -6.5 line

Does PINNY know something others don't? Or the other way around?

where are you guys finding the line @ pinnacle? I cant seem to find it

it should be under "ncaa marquee matchups", i believe by using the propositions drop box. its not where youd expect it to be.

I hate chalk but I just dont see Michigan beating those guys especially in Columbus.

Strange thing is I think OSU is a very beatable team, but I dont think I would bet on any of the teams in the discussion to actually do it with 6 weeks prep time.
