I think Smith should win, but im tired of hearing this anti Quinn crap.
you must admit he has run up the big numbers against inferior opponents. he played like a scared school girl against michigan, and to me that really stands out. against the second best defense he faced, ucla, he was also abysmal. if he has a huge game against usc and ohio st. and smith stumble, he might be a consideration.
Yeah, ND doesn't get hyped up enough....Please. I wasn't knocking Quinn anyway, just saying he doesn't deserve it over Troy Smith.

lol, ucla wasn't the 2nd best defense he faced. does penn state ring a bell, they are much higher rated defensively than ucla. c'mon, brady was 25-36 287 yds, 3td. not a scared school girl vs that defense.
Smith didn't fare well against Penn St. either...Difference OSu won the game and ND lost to UM...no thanks to either player
stats about even today, so thats huge for smith ... get the win next week and I think he gets trophy ... had a disasterous week and my biggest bet of year is Smith +195 to get hardware ... other than that hope im limping into wire :scared
