Going out there this weekend and was looking for some feedback about places to eat. If you would, let me know the following

Would be looking around a $40-$60 meal (pp, not including drinks)
Best Steak house?
Best italian restaurant?

Also, any decent places to catch a nice breakfast?

Delmonico's (sp) in the Ventetian is a great steakhouse. I believe it is an Emeril establishment. I had Pork Chops with grilled shrimp and sliced tomatoes. My wife had a steak and lobster. Great meal.

I know you might not think much of this, but you have to try the Wynn or Bellagio buffets. For buffets, they are pricey, but are pretty amazing for quality and selection.

My favorite place off the strip is by the Green Valley Casino....it's called Claim Jumpers. Pretty cool place.

Emeril's restaurant at the MGM is pretty good too.

I realize none of these fit your exact question, but I really like them.

It would be Michael Mina's (formerly aqua) in the Bellagio. However, it's a little pricey...the last time my wife and I went the bill came up to $300. That's for 2, so about $150/ea. Only had one drink too, but the food is to die for...fresh seafood professionally prepared and it is so so so good.

Palace station casino's (on sahara)
The oyster bar. you wait in line to sit @ the bar where you watch them coo your meal. Hands down the best seafood you'll ever have.
They serve cajun style goodie's such as Pan Roast , Scampi ,Gumbo , Boulabaise ,
steamers or chilled assortments & the N.E Clam Chowder is unbeleavable. Also not too pricey
the most expensive thing is like $25.

Enjoy I know you will.

Off the strip and away from all the bells and whistles there is a place called Carluccio's. Its on 1775 East Tropocana 7953236 (I forgot the area code). Its quiet, nice, cheap and very good food.

I Best Steakhouse I've been to is the Delmonico at the Venetian.

I've tried Charlie Palmers at the 4 Seasons and did not think it compared to Delmonico.

I've heard Nine at The Palms is excellent.

For Italian, I absolutely love Il Mulino at the Forum Shops at Caesars. Its a little pricey but they give you alot of "free" accompaniments with the meal that make it worth it.

Paris and Aladdin..yes Bellagio and Wynns are great.

Paris u can get Dinner Buuffet fer lunch price get in before 5:30.think same w Bellagio but there's a 1/2 hour dif if i remember.

I always stop at least once at Cathay House on Spring Mountain. Great Chinese.

Cant remember a bad meal in a while. Rio has all u kin eat lobster..they are small but it's lobster.

stay away from anything under 10 bucks in Buffets or have ur cell handy for a 911 call.

Orleans best bargain price wise....like 13 bucks.

OK
Take your own bottle of wine and with the right tip you may not get charged with a opening fee. Better wine at a cheaper price. turk

By the way the best steakhouse is in the Barbary Coast, Michael's, and the best affordable steak house is in The Orleans.

While I would throw in a vote for Delmonico's for a great restaraunt, by far the best steakhouse I've been to in Las Vegas would have to be Smith & Wollensky's. I've eaten at their main one in Chicago and this one ranks right there with it. Great atmosphere and steaks to die for.

Please tell me this is sarcastic. And when you leave take the salt and pepper, its cheaper.

Actually very common practice in finer restaraunts all over, although I've never had much success with them not charging the opening fee (corkage).

BTW, for off strip at a reasonable price in Vegas, Flemmings is another nice restaraunt.
