yeah,he was a lib...but,so are some "almost" likable guys on this forum.....he wasn`t obnoxious like say,andy rooney or mike wallace....
i stopped watching 60 minutes years ago,but an acquaintance met him backstage once at an al jarreau concert for the congressional black caucus, and said he seemed like a really decent, really smart guy(not to mention that he was a pretty darn good mayor of los angeles, too)....:SIB
