The Line just dropped to 10 @ most places despite:

West Virginia 1281-692 64.93%
Pittsburgh 692-1281 35.07%
Consensus Details

This had to be sharp money moving the #. I'm surprised that they would make a play this early? You know what that means:

Take Pittsburgh + the points. like the OVER 51.5 also.

Pittsburgh weather from weather.com: Windy...showers and thundershowers this evening, then variable clouds overnight with more showers possible. Low 44F. Winds SW at 15 to 25 mph. Chance of rain 60%.

This actually may be a weather issue moving the #??

Supposed to be nasty out tonight in Pittsburgh, that's my guess for the line move.

25 mph winds and thunderstorms would do it. Still favors the bigtime rushing attack in my mind.

Good Luck Dr. Fade. I'm having a tough time on this game as Pitt's run defense definately scares me. Panthers have given up 258 yards rushing per game during their 3 game losing streak. Panthers have numerous injuries on their defensive line and could get run over. However, Palko should enjoy throwing on a weak secondary for WVU that doesn't get a consistent pass rush. Slaton is nursing an injured wrist as well and could be slowed a bit.

You're correct. Home dogs on Thursday nights have been money on ESPN all season. Why buck the trend:shrug:

Pitt +10.5 for 8*
Pitt 1st half +6.5 (-105) for 4*
Pitt ML (+360) for 2*

Let's hope Palko comes out hot and Pitt can slow down the Mountaineers rushing game.

Hoops Guru,

Let the kids play the football game before telling other cappers their plays suck. Sure it's a reach, but have you seen West Virginia's pass defense and pass rush:nono: It's awful and this is a rivalry where the home team could get a nice emotional lift with a good start.

I think Robert Gallery plays for Pitt. That O-line is not picking up blitzes at all.
I do give a lot of credit to WVa defense. Done a nice job disguising things in 2nd half.
