Has anyone noticed anything different about Lloyd this year ? The way he has coached ? The way he has dealt with the media ? Anything ? I think he is the key to this game. Ohio St is good but, they have lost so much on (D) and they had their biggest test the first game of the year against Tx with their green freshman Mc Coy @ QB. The big ten is down, what do we really know about the Buckeyes (D) ?

i have my heisman bet on Troy, so obviously i hope oh st wins ... but i did notice in the FH last week that NW was moving the ball almost at will ... I wonder if OH ST backers were alarmed by that ... 2nd half OH ST shut them down ...

Lloyd is feeling much better this year for multiple reasons (health not being the least of them). I think he is less stressed due to the fact much more responsibility has been delegated to the rest of the staff. Most importantly, I think winning cures all ills, and its a lot easier to win when your team is healthy and stacked with NFL 1st round talent.

Let me say this about OSU, they are not overrated. This team has blown away everyone in their path. Anyone claiming they're not as good as advertised simply hasn't been watching them play on a regular basis. UM will not be winning this game because OSU is overrated. If UM wins this football game it will be because they want it more.

With the Texas showing their true colors in games vs TT and K-State, I truely wonder how tough Ohio St's schedule really is.

So Texas still is the hardest game on the OSU schedule, who is next? Iowa? A road game at Michigan St? Penn St at home? Based on this a first half wager on Michigan may be the way to go. It may take OSU a half to get up to speed with the wolverines.

Does anyone know where you can find an up to date strength of schedule ranking?

Cheers!

i cant remember a first half the buckeyes havent covered this year, they have come out of the gate like a bat out of hell on offense.

That being said, I will prolly play Michigan for the game

Couldn't you say the exact same thing about Michigan?...lets try... With the ND showing their true colors in games against Michigan, Michigan St., UCLA, I truely wonder how tough Michigan's schedule really is.

So ND still is the hardest game on the UMich schedule, who is next? Wisconsin (at home)? A road game at Penn St.? Iowa at home? Based on this a first half wager on OSU may be the way to go. It may take UMich a half to get up to speed with the buckeyes.

Hmmm that was easy. Seriously, what has Michigan shown, other than their D can beat the piss out of bad teams and Henne can throw a bomb to Manningham? I can do that. Hart is sweet, everyone knew that. So neither team had a really tough schedule. Lots and lots of unknowns. Personally, I'll take the proven Coach and the home field advantage any day, but I'm not the most confident buckeye in c-bus right now, that's for sure.

Good stuff here but no one has put their finger on the question @ hand. What is different , if anything about Coach Carr that will put them over the top this yr. Has anyone seen anything in press conferences or heard about a change in demeanor with his players ? I think Mich has the talent to get it done if Carr doesn't get in the way.

Without having seen any conferences or interviews, I would say nothing is different. They're just flat out more talented than theyve been in the recent past.

A qb and rb that have matured and a stout defense.

I think Lloyd Carr has a turtle on deck that could choke a donkey...........after the game hes going to drop his slingshots at midfield and take a dump right in the middle of that big O..........so he can say "my players and I, shit on the Buckeyes"

The changes at coordinator and the switch to a zone blocking scheme on offense have played a role, but health and experience are probably the two biggest factors.
