Tough week 10,(4-7) but that just means this week will be that much sweeter

VT under 38.5

I think the under is a very good bet here, both trend wise (VT last 11 road games 8 have gone under) and fundamentals (VT avg 10 pts against Wake avg 13 pts against)

Wake's biggest weakness, is also VT biggest weakness. Wake will often get burnt in the secondary, and they are giving up 200+ passing yrds a game - BUT VT Glennon has yet to get comfortable throwing deep this season, he will continue to throw short passes and try to establish the run. VT offense has yet to click this season(with the exception of Ore against Clemson) and I do not think WF will ever get it going against VT defense (pretty safe bet against almost any team).

I also think I will be able to make a very nice 2nd half bet on this game as well. This line will probably drop a little bit, so I wanted to get it early.

FWIW I am 5-1 betting VT this year, with the 1 loss being a 3 TD rally in the last 6 min of a UNC game to blow a LOCK of the under.

thanks tulah, gl with the Mich, I will be rooting for them and you to cash that, on opposites sides of the SC game though, will be rooting for Cal ..... i know big shocker

Adding ASU/UCLA under 53.5

This has been a very high scoring series in the past 10 years, but this year UCLA is playing some of the best defense in the Pac and ASU offense has been out of sync

UCLA games have gone under 8 out of the last 10. ASU just put up a ton of points on WSU last week which worries me, and they are playing at home where they have been potent this year and in the past. All that being said, ASU will have to run the ball and UCLA has been very good against the run this year. I look for a low scoring, hard fought game. I think 53 points is just too many and the total will continue to drop.

Also adding my DDRD pure plays -

WM over FSU +15.5

MidTenn over SC + 15.5

UL Monroe over Kentucky +19

what is that old saying? Never bet a doggie against Steve Spurrier cause he is a heartless bastard tha needs to cover a couple games a year for the alumni? think thats how it goes.

I will chalk this one up to a lesson learned

I appreciate the BC play, I didnt watch the game but from the replays looks like we got lucky with those 2 fumbles returned for TD

Anyways hope you hit on the ASU play, and i hope its a low scoring game to boot:mj06:

I wanted to play a Mich +6 or ML and hedge it with a Troy Smith over in passing yrds, but couldnt get a line on the Smith pass yrds unfortunately. So i didnt play either, going 5-3 this week was a nice consolation though! And Hokies are rumbling onto another solid season!

Funny, I don't hear Herbstreit or anyone on this forum calling for Beamers head saying that VT ball isn't what it used to be and that everyone is playing for themselves and selfish VT mentality because of Vick and blah blah blah..... GO HOKIES
