Anybody find this home dog really attractive. Browns are getting 4 in this match up and I think that is way too much. Perfect spot for a Steelers let down which we have seen most of the season, not to mention they are horrid on the road. Browns, on the other hand tend to grind it out with teams (especially at home) giving it their best effort. At the end of the day I think the brownies walk away with a W.

Pittsburgh will be the most popular bet this weekend and the public will duly note that they beat the Browns 41-0 in Cleveland last year and have dominated the series since the Brown's came back, 11-3.

With that said, I am sure the Browns certainly have a bitter taste from getting smashed last year and should play with a little more emotion, if that is possible in a rivalry game.

Injuries to note, Droughns has not practiced and will be a game time decision. Never heard of his backups. Troy Polamalu is very questionable after suffering his 6th concussion last week. If Troy doesn't play, and IMO, this is huge as Pittsburgh D is pathetic without him to cover up all their mistakes. Frye was sacked 8 times last year in this game.

Good luck.

From PGH PA and Troy is in. He said he is ready to go. Pgh is 0-4 on the road and hasn't lost a game on the road by more than 10. I expect a tough game as usual when playing the Browns b/c of the rivalry. +4 is a bit much. I figure the Steelers would be giving that much though not deserving too. W/ that said, if Droughns doesn't play, my play would be the Steelers.

love this game. was just beginning to post on this as well. cleveland has played a tough schedule to date and held their own. will wait for status of droughns before making a decision. just played the under 37.5. love it.

well, if nothing else, the players havent forgotten the ass beating they took last year. the question, of course, is will they be able to do something about it. browns have been great as a dog in the 4-11 range. not so great in the short dog role.

====
"Everybody knows - Christmas Eve, 41-0," linebacker Andra Davis said. "That never left us. That's personal right there. We're definitely looking forward to that one."

====
Said running back Reuben Droughns: "We've got a huge one next week: 41-0. That's all the guys are going to be remembering."

====
"The most embarrassing thing football-wise I've been a part of. It ruined the holiday," safety Brian Russell said.

====
"A home game against your rival and you take a . . . whipping like that, it's not something you want to show your fans or anybody. I don't think it's a game that will be forgotten around here for a while," Heiden said.

====
"It was embarrassing. It was terrible," said receiver Braylon Edwards. "I vowed that when I came back, that wouldn't happen. We definitely won't ever lose like that again."

====
"I'm aware of what happened last year," Wimbley said. "The guys have talked about what type of experience that was for them and how they don't want to go through that again. When we play, that'll be on a lot of guys' minds."

====
"We're coming after their [tails]," Edwards said. "You don't beat somebody 41-0 at their own house. We're coming for the Steelers, that's point-blank, period."

====
"You can't get beat like that and not come back the following game thinking about that game," Braylon Edwards said. "It's not a situation where you say the past is the past. No, the hell with that."

====
Receiver Braylon Edwards, who said Sunday that the Browns are coming after the Steelers' tails, likes their chances in the game.

"We refuse to go into the game and lose, 41-0," Edwards said. "We refuse to go in there and lose period. We're going in to win, and that's what we'll do."

He said the Browns have playmakers this year that they didn't in the blowout.

"Kellen [Winslow Jr.] didn't play, I didn't play, Sean Jones didn't play, and we're not having it," said Edwards.

no reuben droughns for the browns. frye is going to have to make a lot of plays in the passing game because its doubtful browns will get a whole lot done on the ground now. winslow and edwards need to back up their talk today

yep, same shit different week with the clowns. the franchise is just a losing franchise, no matter how you look at it. they might be better than their record, but its just typical cleveland.
