Sitting here switching from football game to ESPN Laker game, honest of God, since kickoff I have seen at least 15-20 Dam commercials. It's ridiculous, NFL is nothing but commercials they run 4 commercials, 1 NFL play, there is 1sec on clock, first quarter expires, 4 more commercials. It's getting not worth watching. Game has no flow or rhythm anymore, and if you go to any game, its great waiting 10 minutes in bad weather for TV timeouts. Greedy NFL has ruined the game.

the nfl on tv is a 3 hour commercial with 13 minutes of actual game action

Ever notice there can be 3 games on the tube and all three will have a commercial on at the same time.It happens so often it's ridiculous.Same for college games also.

Man, I can't explain to you how much I hate this. What can be done? Nothing!
We can't influence the ad companies. The rating are still high with all the commercials.
I don't watch very many games anymore because of this and if I do I will so what you guys do and switch between commercials.
I'm ready for all PPV!

I hear ya. I've been screaming this for years. Its like most people don't care or maybe like me, just cant do anything about it.

Every few years they make rule changes to the clock b/c the games run over. All they are doing is shortening the game and adding even more commercials. Its a constant cycle, and its unreal.

Ever see a guy get pushed out of bounds, but the ref will wind the clock to signal the player is in bounds? Thats to shorten the game. Its sort of a technicality, but they are saying that if he's pushed backwards that his forward momentum was stopped in bounds.

Its hard to argue but its also crap. Its like saying if a guy is holding a basketball on his palm and you hit it out of his hands....well, "technically", the ball rolled over his pinky so its out on him.

Its all about money. I sincerely hope the nfl goes out of business one day, but I know it won't.

Thats one reason I like college games better (among several reasons). Most of the time there are 5-6 games, if not more, so you can switch around. I don't have the nfl package...not even an option with my cable company.
I doubt I could pay that much for nfl anyway.

NFL Red Zone Channel on Sunday Ticket kicks ass for this reason: NO COMMERCIALS!

True. But, part of the problem is the commercials themselves, the other part is the fact that the game gets stopped for several minutes over and over again.
Sunday Ticket doesn't stop that, but I know what you mean.

Its like every game is the freakin superbowl with all the TV time outs. How can a team or game have any sort of flow with all the stoppages? In the old days they just went to commercial and let the game keep playing. Because momentum is a huge part of the game, I think it actually can influence the outcome of certain games. greed is killing the game.
