Marquette Golden Eagles vs. Duke Blue Devils? any thoughts?

Both teams playing back to back for this CBE final...think the spread is right....would love to hit DUKIE on the ML again tonite....but i wanna hear some other thoughts....

I thought dook look sloppy at times last night, and coach K teams usually respond with a crisper performatnce. I think the line reflects the fact that AF kept the game tighter most of the way than it should have been.

if you like over go w/ marquette. under- go w/ duke. conditioning for paulus may be a factor. in my opinion duke will lose 2 out of the 3 games w/ indiania next week, gonzaga on dec 21st or tonight. in tonight's game james will blow by paulus so nelson will have to guard him. for me, i have small play on marquette.

Couldnt agree more with Lowell about the ov/un with the respective teams you like. Im going with Duke. Looking for McRoberts to have a big game against a smaller Marquette team. I think Coach K will slow down the tempo of this game alot. Lets also not forget that Marquette had a tough game against Idaho St this year. In Coach K I Trust.

I took Marq +5 and Marq ML. Wondering if I should hedge...was hoping to get a 4-pt Marq lead at the half and hedge the ML.

Right now, I'd be trying to middle b/t 2-5

Why was it good that you hedged? You ended up losing your halftime bet instead of winning both original bets outright.

Of course this is being an armchair quarterback, but that halftime bet left you with a 2 point middle. I'd be interesting to see if the juice is worth it on a middle opportunity that tight in the long run. I can't imagine it is. You only would have hit it had dook won by 3 or 4 points.
