I like Butler but I can only get +6. That is too close to your line to make it a play so I am not playing it. If it falls to +5.5 I will play it, is that correct?

That's the wrong way to think. Expect money to go on wrong end. My selections are based on Vegas lines makers odds not money swings. Any time you can get any extra over what I posted its a bonus. Actually if Vegas did it right the money will always go in on the wrong side.:142smilie

My take on this capping is that when computing a line for a given matchup; str.of sched./power rating etc. .. you come up with a number. If Vegas posts a lower number of +pts. on the dog it means intangibles are present to offset what the line should be and thus a play on that dog becomes prevalent** so far so good IMO ~:SIB ~

I believe Vegas doesn't give away anything for free. If the line looks too good there is a reason. Vegas has much more access to important data than any power rating service. I believe I found there data source allowing me to come up with the same lines as them. However when a line is different by more than 2 1/2 points I know they know something and are sucking in all the extra cash.:scared

BB - nice work, I followed you last year too...I always take your plays for the same amount (unless I miss them for some reason!!) How you keep your patience with all these questions is beyond me...keep it up!!!
