Read where only 40,000 households are able to view the game. Figure less than half will even turn the game on,well that's not a big audience. Wonder how long it will last. Maybe Fox will see a market share and buy it out???
Well, I get the NFL Network... but when it was kickoff time, they switched to some NFL Films show. A scrolling trailer at the top of the screen said that my cable provider did not pay the rights fees to show live NFL games on the NFL network, so it was blacked out. They gave a phone number to call and complain to Insight.
My cocksucking cable company sent me an e-mail telling me ahead of time this was going to happen.
Why the hell have the NFL network if you aren't going to show NFL GAMES WHEN THEY ARE ON???
DirecTV will be here next Friday, **** these bastards.
Is it really that big of a deal? I can see it pissing you off if you can't see the local team. That I can understand. But even at that, I don't think people watch as much football as they think they do!
I found that a lot of guys don't even watch the game from end to end. They "surf", do other odd shit around the house, etc. I'm pretty sure most of you probably do, as well.
I think a lot of you are just having a knee-jerk reaction to being told that you can't have something that you've always had. Me? I certainly didn't miss the game.
Personally, I think the network would do far better selling the game on Pay Per View at $4.99 a crack. That way, you are not being "force fed" a product, and feel like you have more control over your choice in the matter.
When you've got money riding on the game, it's a big deal.
