Above the Clouds....
Read where only 40,000 households are able to view the game. Figure less than half will even turn the game on,well that's not a big audience. Wonder how long it will last. Maybe Fox will see a market share and buy it out???

I am with Dish Network and they carry the channel so I'll be able to watch it. 40,000 seems awfully low. There has to be more than 40,000 households that subscribe to Dish Network.

Oops can I edit that.. reading the article again 40 million out of 111 million households I guess that sounds more like it. Too much turkey and extras:toast:

Well, I get the NFL Network... but when it was kickoff time, they switched to some NFL Films show. A scrolling trailer at the top of the screen said that my cable provider did not pay the rights fees to show live NFL games on the NFL network, so it was blacked out. They gave a phone number to call and complain to Insight.

My cocksucking cable company sent me an e-mail telling me ahead of time this was going to happen.

Why the hell have the NFL network if you aren't going to show NFL GAMES WHEN THEY ARE ON???

DirecTV will be here next Friday, **** these bastards.

At least you got an email. I had no idea they weren't going to show the game. Believe me, they've already gotten an earfull from me this morning. Not that it did any good.

On the course!
Is it really that big of a deal? I can see it pissing you off if you can't see the local team. That I can understand. But even at that, I don't think people watch as much football as they think they do!

I found that a lot of guys don't even watch the game from end to end. They "surf", do other odd shit around the house, etc. I'm pretty sure most of you probably do, as well.

I think a lot of you are just having a knee-jerk reaction to being told that you can't have something that you've always had. Me? I certainly didn't miss the game.

Personally, I think the network would do far better selling the game on Pay Per View at $4.99 a crack. That way, you are not being "force fed" a product, and feel like you have more control over your choice in the matter.

i don't see how someone can get upset about not watching an NFL game. Don't get me wrong, I love watching the games, but when I am not able to- and it is not my team - 75% of the game is commercials anyway, no need to lose sleep over it.

When you've got money riding on the game, it's a big deal. When you subscribe to the network and are led to believe you are going to watch the game, it's a big deal.

Maybe it's no big deal to you, but it is to others. Glad you didn't miss it, but others did.

YYZ, et al,

You are right, it really isn't a big deal, but, I pay over $1200 a year for cable tv and internet access and this is just another in a long line if things that have had Armstrongs dick up my ass and this is enough.

Eventually when you keep ****ing someone it's usually something small that turns out to be the straw that breaks the camels back, well this is it for me with these cocksuckers.

Will my $1200 make or break them, of course not, but at this point I would rather burn the money than give it to them any longer, **** em.
