I dont think vanderbilts record has anything to do with what cutler may be able to accomplish under Shanahan. He is a smart coach whom wants to win now and Plummer has hit a wall. He never was a great QB to begin with but his mistakes are killing the Broncos. Shannahan will spoonfeed the youngster and not put the game on his shoulders. Denver is a hard place to play and Seatle may be due for a letdown. Anything is better than watching Plummer piss your season away. He is awful.

You'll see a lot of the Denver RB's in this game. Seattle will not stop the run. If Cutler can run a play action pass, which i suspect he can. Should be an easy first start and victory for him.

I'm not looking for anyone to agree with me.
I think the kid will be more usefull on the bench learning. @ 7- 4 The playoff are a realistic goal.
If the Broncos had a losing record I could understand starting the kid.
I'm not even a Bronco fan.
I just don't think Cutler has ever developed a winning attitude.

cutler has a stonger arm than plummer and culter will be a threat for the long ball which will help the running game! denver has not lose 3 in arow since 2003, seattle is coming off monday nite game with greenbay now has to go to denver , like the home team BAD SPOT FOR SEATTLE HERE!

Seattle: 0-6 ATS away vs. non-conference opponents

DENVER WILL WIN THIS GAME

Ray,

Over still a good play in your opinion? I always like the over on these kinds of games anyway. Receivers know where they are going, DB's don't. Don't know about the wet ball though. I remember Aikman used to hate throwing a wet ball.

Good luck tonight Raymond! McNair/Mason < Palmer/Johnson
and I am an Auburn homer so I will roll with my boy Rudi! Quick story- I was walking down the streets of Auburn one Saturday night(in Rudi's ButlerCC days) when I bumped into Rudi. No one new who he was yet I saw him and we partied all night. He turned to me after the third shot of Patron and said "hey Ben, where them freak hoes at"! Luckily, I new a straight road whore and he was set. Anyway, I am fuked up and about to go eat some sushi. Go Bengals!!! Rainmond you are a bad ass!!!!!

Winning Attitude? Like Plummer has a winning attitude himself. The Bronco team has lost faith in Jake and rightfully so. He absolutely stinks more than ever this season and a change has to be made or you are letting the whole team down. This could be the rallying cry the Broncos have been dying for. Bottom line is that they will go nowhere with Jake the Fake taking the snaps.
He looks lost

A little new to the site but my take on it is that Denver saw what the Cowboys have done and they think that lightning is going to strike twice. I don't see Cutler coming in doing the same job Romo has done and I think Denver is going to lose miserably.

Also, first half and second half were two different games for the Seahawks last week. Second half they looked like the team of old and I see them coming out and winning on the road. Call me dumb but I love the Seahawks getting 4 in this spot.

This is from memory now, but I think I recall reading that Cutler had 17 rushing tds in his college career and around 1300yds. Could this be accurate?
Just a thought.

Slater6son,
I think that is a different situation.
T.Romo has been a cowboy 3-4yrs.
Cutler is a rookie.

SourDoughJoe,
yes it's accurate .I posted his college stats on the previous page

Yeah, I understand that but I meant in the sense of replacing Plummer like Bledsoe was replaced. I think Denver thinks he is going to give them the same spark and I don't see it happening.

:iagree:

IMO The kid needs a yr on the bench to learn the system.

in sizing up a college qb, stats are not important. otherwise great qb's in college...ie...klinger, etc would have been great pro qbs. these scouts look at quickness of release, quickness of dropping back in the pocket, agility in the pocket, being able to throw the deep out, etc. also looking at the competition the qb played in college is also important. i'm not a scout but i think cutler has the making of being a very fine qb...but only time will tell.

Tulah,

I am confused because if Leinart and Young can come in and start as Rookies with shitty teams around them, why can't Cutler whom is most likely smarter than young and better gifted than leinart with MOST definitely a better team do it?

Shanahan is no fool.

Good day.
