I've been puttin' in a lot of o.t. at work and haven't had a chance to get out much.

Anybody know how much live 6ft-7ft Christmas trees are going for in So. Cal??

Not sure about cali but just got a beautiful dou. fir 8 and 1/2 ft for 75 in Ohio...they were cheaper in NC but that's cause they were grown close by.

I just bought a Noble and paid $46.95. The Douglas Firs started at around $26.95 for 6' -7'. I went to a lot that served a charity. I suppose a private lot might charge a little more. Home Depot has good prices, but the good trees go fast. Happy hunting....

Wait until Christmas eve. They'll beg you to get it off the lot.
Put it up that night and take it down the day after.

I guess some of us don't view christmas as an obligation :shrug: If you have young kids at home, that can't be much fun.

Taken. Have 3 kids - 4 grand kids. Never had a problem. Usually booked up the mountains day after. It's as much fun taking it down.
