Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, who starred at the University of Michigan, was asked why he believed the Wolverines and not Florida should be playing Ohio State for the national championship.
Brady didn't pull any punches.
"Anyone who has seen (Florida) play realizes it is a no-brainer. Florida is not very good. I watched that game (Saturday) night and that other (Arkansas) quarterback completed like three passes the week before. They have 18 guys out there throwing passes for Arkansas," Brady said.
When a reporter countered that Michigan already had its shot at beating the Buckeyes, Brady said, "But that's not the way the BCS works. It is supposed to be the two best teams in college football. I would vote for Michigan to play Ohio State if I had a vote."

Where did Brady play football and not learn anything ? Somebody tell Brady to play football and not start any fires thinking to much. Somebody tell Brady to help Mich get a football coach that will play to win the game. He sounds, 1/2 as smart as the rest of those guys that come out of there. Somebody tell Mr Carr that he's in the big-10, tell your boys to show up and punch somebody in the mouth. Brady is a NFL qb, he wears a skirt, he's the perfect poster boy for this Michigan Team. I guess Michigan will have to do what they will until they get a coach; wait till next yr. To much crying going on in Michigan, no way they get it up for their bowl game.

From Rex Grossman:

"If you look at Michigan's body of work, there really is no comparison on who should get to play for the BCS title. Michigan hasn't played anyone and they've already lost to Ohio State once in a game that wasn't that competitive in the first place. Why whould they get another shot? Plus, Michigan fans have pasty skin and smell like cabbage."

Here's a fun fact about 3 time Super Bowl winner and future first ballot Hall of Fame quarterback, Tom Brady:

As a senior, Tom led the Big Ten's 2nd place team to an Orange Bowl win over the mighty SEC CHAMPION Alabama Crimson Tide.

Here's a fun fact about your boy AU2001 (I haven't won any Super Bowls)

I actually placed my first bet ever, all the way back in 1997 on the Alabama Crimson Tide who was a 3 point underdog against the mighty Michigan Wolverines in the Outback Bowl. Alabama not only covered in that game, but they won straight up.

Alabama 17
Mich. 14

I have been winning ever since. Go Gators!

Thanks for giving me another reason to hate your lucky ass, Brady, I guess you must have already used all seven wishes you got when you sold your soul to the devil.

I, also, agree with Grossman, he makes several good poins.

is there college football in Syracuse, NY??........just b/c Mike Hart got plucked from you backyard and your QB is Perry patterson......let me repeat thats Perry patterson.....no reason to be bitter man let it go........

whats funny is that you are serious and unless you played D-1 football and quaterbacked in the NFL, to say that Brady wears a skirt is laughable and makes you look like an ass...........an internet poster boy essentially saying an NFL QB is a woman:142smilie

i could see if it was in jest and having fun, but you really seem frustrated

Just to clear the air:

Tom Brady does not wear a skirt (except on his head, and it usually has a hot chick attached to it)

Remember when this very very similar Michigan team lost straight up as a 9.5 point favorite to Nebraska in the bowl game last year?

That was a sweet +300 in my pocket IIRC.

yes college football has been played here. go back and look at what syr did between 87 & 97. wins over most of the sec, mich, ohio st, tx, all those big bowl game wins , look it up. we'll get a coach in here and turn it around. there are few teams in the country that played with everone the way Syr did those 10 yrs.

Much better Michigan team as opposed to last year but since we're taking trips down memory lane, it sure was nice to cash on that Texas ML in the champ game as well:SIB

Not to mention in 98 when Syr went into the big house the yr after they won it all and kicked ass, also loss to Tenn by 1 that same yr tenn won it all. the past is the past and I could care less about Hart. Clad he went to Mich, He could not have helped Syr. All that does not change the fact that Lloyd Carr retooled if (O) line to beat Ohio St but got soft and went away from what B-10 football is all about. Give Tressel lLoyds team and he beats Ohio St every time.
