James Madison -11 over Dartmouth **** strong play
JMU has lost to Wake by 9,ODU by 11,and got beaten up by the Hoyas.But in ODU game it was 44-42 late in 2nd half.They come home after being on the rd and what better team to play.. Dartmouth...they haven't played in 2 weeks since getting beat by 50 at Kansas .Dart also lost to Hartford by 10,Siena 14,Colgate 12,GW by 50 and Mass by 37.They are a hurting team. Can't shoot,can't rebound,can't play defense.They rank at the bottom of D-1 in almost all the above catogories.They avg 50 pts a game..335th..FG%..328...3pt...331..etc,etc
JMU will probaly play man but if its goes into its 2-3 zone not sure how green can score.JMU has james and Posey both avg 15 pts a game.They have big gds and also 6'11 Chami who did a decent job on Hibbert of Georgetown.Ball is the only player avg double digits 10 pts a game.
Little Dukies will win this by 15-20 pts.It's there turn to beat up on somebody.
Marist -6 .5 over Peter **** strong play
Foxes have to much.Jordan is unreal.He can take over a game.I always thought if you put a quick defender on him he will have trouble.He's the college Steve Nash of the Suns.Watching him the other nite.Griffs made some nice runs,got the score down to 3 or 4 pts and then Jordan does something.Smith who did nothing in the canisius game should give Peter some problems.Foxes defense scares me but 2 weeks ago that went man/man vs ODU and just stopped them.Foxes will play the 2-3 but in last 3 games Brady has gone to man.Peter is to inconsistent. Lost to FDU,Lafayette,and Monmouth.But look what they did to Loy Md.Think foxes win this by 10.Marist will have problems with teams that pound the ball inside.Peter has no one to pound it too.
Manhattan -4 over Loy md ***
Like jaspers here at home in Draddy.Brown is amazing but think jaspers have a little more depth,Dubois in the middle and playing at home.Jaspers beat Hofstra,just lost to Fordham by 4 and we all saw what the Rams did to Penn yest.
Canisius +2.5 over Fairfield ***
watched the Griffs-Foxes game friday nite.There not bad.Athletic,quick,can shoot..just do so many stupid things.wilson and herring can score.I really like this upset win.If Tim O was still coaching at fairfield you have 2 coaches from my HS going against each other.The AD gene Doris coached both at my HS.Parrotta is the new Canisius coach. Nero the kid from my area is doing great for the Stags.talking to a few coaches in my area..many said nero was to soft for D-1.I thought he was he good but never suspected the impact he has at Fairfield. watching him vs georgetown and taking those guys to the hoop,pump faking,hook shot,up and under,wow.RS his HS coach did a good job teaching him those big man fundamentals.. But like the Griffs today..

Johnnies won big yest..what the hell happened to Nova. read the phillys papers this am.Drex just outplayed and wanted it more.Although i got beat its nice to see the little guy who's been getting "waxed'" for yrs win. would of loved to be in Flints lockeroom after that game.When people ask me "do you miss coaching"? It;s things like that I miss.. GL today
I will be posting a Guardian Angel 2 Post coming..Herb is doing great. Not a day goes by where he doesn't thank the hundreds of "angels" that sent him the money for his TV and set up.but I have another story that is heart breaking and they need some "angels". Stay tuned...
