NFL YTD +12.5 Units
Been a disappointing back half of the NFL season for yours truly - went from being up 56.8 Units earlier in the year to the measly total you see today - better than being in the red, but a disappointment nonetheless
That all being said, I am extremely confident in this game:
12.5 Units CAROLINA ML +150
Carolina is again without Delhomme, but far more important IMO is the return of Lucas and Gamble - teams have been heaving it up against a rag-tag bunch of misfits in the CAR secondary but I believe that all facets of the Panthers "D" will be firing today - CAR is playing for their playoff lives and should put forth an honest effort at home this afternoon
Meanwhile, people around the country think that "PITT is back!" - I say not so fast - Yes, they have won their last 2 games after being shutout by the Ravens, but those games were against TB and CLE, not exactly murderers row - Also, PITT has been horrible on the road, with their only win coming in huge comeback fashion against the Brownies - Fast Willie Parker has amassed a grand total of 275 yards away from Heinz Field, and has been basking in the light of a record-breaking performance for 10 days now - the Steelers were definitely "up" for their prime-time game against the Browns, and will obviously have payback in mind for the Ravens next week - will they carry a ton of emotion into NC this week? My $$ says no, and I believe you will see the Panthers put themselves right back in the mix in the NFC today
And as always, good luck no matter which sides you choose
