This just doesn't look right. BYU is clearly the better team and it would seem they would have a lot more motivation to play in this meaningless Bowl than a team like Oregon. Not to mention Im sure the kids from Oregon have been having a lot more fun in Vegas than the Mormons. This just looks too easy though, so Im a little skeptical. What do you guys think?

From all of the interviews, BYU is ready for this game. This is the biggest game for the seniors on this team, Beck, Jensen, Brown, Harline, etc. as they have not won a bowl game in their careers, let alone BYU hasnt won a bowl since 96. The BYU secondary is banged up, but if they can stop the run they should slaughter the ducks.
Because BYU has had a "fluff" schedule with the exception of 2 games against BC and TCU in which they were 1-1 against those two.
Oregon is a lot better than their 7-5 record, however they have lost 3 straight.
I think this is a scary game either way... but I like Oregon in this one.

Those 7 wins include what all of us know was really a loss to Oklahoma if not for replay error. That has been publically stated an error numerous times.
That puts them @ 6-6. Now one of those 6 wins in vs a D II school....does that even really count??
So realistic they have 5 wins this season that are legit.

BYU is so far superior on D there is no point to even get into it.
Because BYU has a bad track record in Bowl games. A few injuries & this is still a 'power' conference team vs 'smaller' conference team in terms of public perception. BYU lost by 8 in this exact situation last year, all be it vs a much better Cal team.
