GONZAGA + 3

The wrong team is favored here. The Bulldogs will look to bounce back big time after losing at Georgia on Saturday. If Duke thought Kent State was tough on Tuesday night, wait till they get a load of the Zags. Gonzaga is used to playing at Madison Square Gardens, having played 2 games there early this season. As for Duke, they're playing away from Cameron arena for only the second time this season (last time out they lost to Marquette). This is the perfect spot to play on an angry Gonzaga team against a young Duke squad. I will also be playing the moneyline +140.

Gonzaga + 3 = Best Christmas Gift of the season!

Go Bulldogs!

The Blue Devils are 13-5 under Coach K at Madison Square Garden. Last year, Duke posted wins over Drexel (78-68) and Memphis (70-67) at MSG to win the 2005 NIT Season Tip-Off. Seven of the previous 12 contests have drawn at least 19,000 spectators. Duke will also be playing St. John?s at Madison Square Garden on Feb. 25. The Blue Devils have won fi ve straight at MSG, dating back to a 72-71 loss to St. John?s on March 2, 2003.

I wish that Gonzaga had beaten Georgia the other night, as that would make me feel better about taking Gonzaga and the points. But Georgia is a very physical team. Not sure Duke will be able to hold Gonzaga off the boards or keep them from scoring 80 + points.

I'm glad that Gonzaga lost to Georgia. That loss should wake the Zags up. Once, again don't just take the 3 points, take the moneyline. This year's Duke squad is not as solid as its ranking.
Go Bulldogs!
