Very similar to Tuesday?s game, I am going with the hot team and fading the team that has performed well below early season expectations. The Coogs have held nine of their opponents this year to 17 points or less and QB Beck has been very poised in the pocket all year completing 70% of his passes with just six interceptions.
The Ducks? 4-2-5 defense has been very susceptible to the run and I think that HC Mendenhall will have RB Brown carrying the ball more tonight that we have been accustomed to seeing. Considering that BYU has outscored their competition 138-15 in the 1st quarter in ?06, I think they will get out front early and stay there like they have been doing all season. The Mormons have won their last nine games by an average score of 39-13 and are hungry for a bowl win which I see them getting tonight.
