shoot this is as wide open as I could ever imagine, every single team has def. holes ... SD lucky as heck to back into final game with chance for HF, but zona might beat them, wouldnt shock me in least ... SD punter has linguini leg ... very lucky Boulware on coverage at end of game ... Balt, Indy, Pats--throw a hat on them ...

Saints might be playing better than anyone, be shocked if Bears get to SB, Boys will have to win 2 on rd ...

IM tossing hands up, can NO beat DC then go to CHI and win, maybe???

If i guessed whod be in finale it doesnt mean a thing ...

so Ill go with

SD and NO

please toss out any opinions
merry xmas

Baltimore vs. I guess the Saints?

Baltimore destroyed my Steelers twice this year with relative ease. They have the D to win any game and genius (as much as I hate to admit it) in Billick calling the plays. A veteran team that knows what it takes to win will make a run through the playoffs. The Pats will give them a run for their money in the NFL, I mean AFC Championship game, but they have the weapons this year. SD who? Shottenheimer always knows how to blow it and an inexperienced QB will throw a crucial turnover at some point in their 1st game.

I am going to give the edge in the NFC to the more veteran lead QB in Drew Brees over Romo. The Cowboys would be the other possibility, but none of the other teams in the conference have a prayer to get to Miami this year.

Also, the bears have been one of the least impressive NFC football teams offensively in the ěnd half of the season fwiw.

Bring on Griese if they want to win a title.

Every time I see this "Schottenheimer blows in the playoff" comment as an argument againts why the Bolts wont win in the playoffs I shake my head (side ways) and laugh. If you have been watching this year Marty ball is dead and he has let Cameron call the plays on offense and has opened it up so that's a lame argument why the Chargers will lose. Although the play of Rivers does have me worried the one positive is that he has made the plays when he's had to.

A quick look at the Chargers last playoff season shows that Marty has taken the reigns off in the regular season before.

2006 TEAM STATS
Total First Down 284
Total Offensive Yards 5113
Total Rushing Yards 2245
Total Passing Yards 2868
Touchdowns 54

2004 Team Stats
Total First Down 328
Total Offensive Yards 5542
Total Rushing Yards 2185
Total Passing Yards 3357
Touchdowns 55

I think we all remember what happened in the playoff game against the Jets. Until proven otherwise, Martyball is still alive.

NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS vs.

I don't think The Bears survive. Especially if they play a team like The Seahawks. UPSET SPECIAL. BET AGAINST THE BEARS.

IF BEARS go to the NFC Title game, LOAD UP AGAINST THE BEARS.

PATRIOTS vs. Where Eagles Dare !!!!!!!!!!:SIB

one more dismal perfomance by a team many liked, Dallas ... Romo's stats vs +50% teams stink as far as I know ... hey, eagles, why not, as good as anyone but maybe NO right now ... Boys might have to play 3 rd games now if their dreams are realized ... Tuna looked disinterested once again ... TO drops more balls than a hooker

I really liked the Chargers a few weeks ago. They definitely opened up the offense this year. As Rivers struggles continue, it would seem Martyball could return as a way to limit the kid's mistakes. Of course, if you have to play Martyball, it's nice to have LT get the majority of the critical touches. They will need Rivers to step up his play in the playoffs.

My Patriots aren't as strong as some of the previous SB teams. However, getting Maroney, Wilfork, Harrison and Watson reasonably healthy for the playoffs will be critical to a long playoff run.

I haven't seen much of the Ravens so I can't comment on them. Though, I will say they definitely scare me.

NFC? Any team that has to play in Chicago in January is going to have problems. The Bears could win one or two playoff games with very little help from their offense.

Sorry this was so long-winded... I'm going to say Ravens - Bears in the Super Bowl because it usually takes a strong defense to get that far.

dallas has been lights out the last month.....how in the hell homo got an ncf pro bowl invite is beyond me.....he had about 10 good QUARTERS all year.

again......call the bears the least impressive team in the nfc...blah, blah, blah.....find me an nfc team that has beaten them?????

cant do it yet.....

doesnt mean they are a lock to make the super bowl as their defense is getting tired/banged up, but ever since the miami game the nfc has been the "flavor of the month club" with the hot team falling on their face as soon as they get mentioned

nyg....then dallas....then no...now phil

kind of like the disrespect the bears are being shown

Well, I will admit I shouldn't have said no other NFC team has a prayer to get to Miami. The NFC is really up for grabs in my opinion. Their D has been average in recent weeks. One of the reasons they haven't lost to an NFC team all year is because they play most of over half of those games in the NFC North. If they go with Griese now, I can't see a QB who has not played at game speed for all of but about 2 games lead a team through two games at home without throwing a crucial pick or two.

I will take back my Dallas comment...they make me want to vomit watching them. How Parcells let this team fade the last few weeks is beyond me.

Living in Philly now, I must say this veteran team has been playing the most consistent as of late. As much as I hate to admit it, with their simplistic play calling and committment to the run game, I can see this team making a run at it as well. I will stick with my Ravens pick, but have made my final call in the NFC with the Birds/NO in the NFC Championship, with the Eagles making it to Miami.
