Have always wondered...I have heard the "pros" squaking about it before, but was catching up on some High Stakes Poker episodes I have on DVR and they are just going nuts over them. More interested in their "props" than they are the $30,000 dollar pots!!

Doubles, triples, WTF are these things?

Basically, they are props used while playing poker.

Anything else, just ask, I'm here for you.

I believe a prop player is someone who is paid to sit at the tables in a casino or online to draw other players in. Once the table is filled with non-prop players, they must get up and leave at the next blind and will be sent to another table. Ie...in morning hours there may be 3 or 4 props on a table to get action going.

I'd assume the bigger players such as the ones you were watching get paid a set fee vs. an hourly to draw action but that's just a guess.

It's like the side bets that PP used to have - Betting all red vs. black on a flop or high low on the first or last ard on the flop. There's others, but the most important thing is that there is no skill involved.

Yes, this is what I'm talking about, but WHAT ARE THEY?

Well what are the payoffs between bettors and qualifiers for those? And yes what other ones are there?

blue chip is right.

i've played them although at one one hundreth of the stakes they do.

basically anything, like a nassau match in golf, you get hundreds of options dependent upon what you want to do

hi/lo

red/black ... bonus for all one color 2 or 3 x

suits

3 card royals

3 card straights

3 card flush

3 of a kind

comes jack queen king....tag teaming the bitch pays 100 x 1 on the prop

theres a bunch. basically it requires no skill....all luck... and its why the guys on tv are complete degenerates. they have skill no doubt, but are complete and utter gambling degenerates.

you can do it however you want and i have no idea how they do it, but you can take suits or numbers before the day and play em all day and hope they come up. depends on how many people.

Thanks!!

Would love to get my hands on some sort of chart for these things...being the degenerate I am...:SIB

Seems like an easy way to trap some people into taking the worst of it.
