I've been on a nice running winning 5 consecutive bowl game sides ATS including last night's great comeback and win by Florida State. San Jose, Utah, Hawaii, C. Michigan, & Florida State...
So we move forward to the Thursday games of bowl week! Finally the action is getting heated and will continue through Monday. These next 5 days are the equivalent of March Madness IMO and one of the best times of the year in sports.
Oklahoma State -1.5 for 10*... Pokes aren't anything special defensively, but they are great offensively and I think they will outscore the Crimson Tide today. I like Reid a lot more than his counterpart Wilson. Bama lost Shula as well and this could be a distraction for the Tide. Distractions aside, Bama just isn't a very good football team IMO. Also, if Okie State gets down, they can comeback with a quick strike offense... I'm not sure the Tide have the aerial attack to exploit a weak Poke secondary.
Prediction: Oklahoma State 24 Alabama 17
Texas A&M +4 for 10*... Aggies were tough ATS all season and have a nice, balanced attack that should give California problems. Bears weren't playing good in November, losing to Arizona and nearly losing at home to Stanford:scared
Aggies might win SU, but I'll gladly take the points for insurance.
Prediction: Texas A&M 27 California 24
Kansas State +7.5 for 10*... Looks like I should have waited as line is 8 right now. I think the Mildcats have the athletes to play with Rutgers and definately make this game competitive. Teel with his 12 TD's & 23 INT's is hardly intimidating and KSU's pass rush should force the youngster to make some mistakes.
