I didn't go to Rutgers, am not a fan of their team in any way, but the fact that I am sitting in NJ (about 20 minutes from the Rutgers campus) right now and the Rutgers bowl game is nowhere to be found on my tv is ridiculous.

may not help you. i'm in harrisburg, have comcast digital. it's on nfl network, and in HD on the INHD channel 206.

Yeah, don't have the digit. Since I went back to grad school I rarely watch tv besides the standard games here and there, guess I'm out of luck tonight.

That's not my point -- I think it's crazy that a student at Rutgers right now could not watch the game if they wanted to because Comcast and the NFL Networks are fighting.
I'm just as happy watching the Cal game while I do some paperwork -- but don't see why the local team isn't put on a non cable channel just like the Giants will be on Saturday night (also an NFL Network game)
I agree having a bowl game on the nfl network where I believe only 35% of the country can get it is stupid. Keep your paws off the college games nfl network. I do not even like the pro game broadcasts from them as there play by play sucks.
I hear ya, I live 20 mins from their training camp and a lot of people support them. Bottom line is we can't watch the game. Total Bs that these big cos. can tell us what we can watch and we're the ones paying for their existance in the first place.

Live in NE Pa and Comcast just bought out Adelphia....Paying for High Speed Internet and since the change over navigating is slower plus their prices went up? When you call them you're on hold for 15 minutes due to high volumn, yea right everyone in the state of Pa. is trying to call them @ 1:30 am. Then you get to speak to someone and the person says I'll have to transfer you to another department for that answer..Duh then the wait begins again and my call is dropped.....

Blackman, No we don't get it because of some rule that it can only be broadcast in the NYC, NJ area. :shrug:
Normally I agree -- you want the games then pay for them, I get that.
What I'm really against is the idea that the local team (college or pro), isn't available for everyone to view. Greed has gone too far.
