Buddy, can you tell me why you like Cornell. I saw your post and I like Iowa a lot.I know cornell lost 4 of 5 games by a total of 12 pts but it was against Albany,Binghamton, Hartford,Bucknell, and W&Mary.. I know Cornell is also one of the few teams in the country that has a winning ats record on the road the past 3 yrs..but losing there top 2 players in Gore and hartford is huge.Iowa likes beating up on small teams ...Cornells Coach Donahue is a good coach. But think over there heads today with all his puppies..GL

Hey Box,

I was leaning Cornell too simply because I cant see IA's best effort here especially after their very solid offensive and defensive efforts in the last two at home. Seems like teams get a lilttle disinterested on the thrid straight home game espcially when they have played well the first two.

With that said, talent alone may make my point mute.

Good luck

Before I go any further, Cornell is the weakest of my plays. I waffled on this for some time before I made my decision, but I decided to go for it. Normally, I go against teams who cannot cover at home and such is the case with Cornell. Two opportunities in their last two games and they couldn't get the job done. But, both of those were non-lined games. So, in a strange way, Cornell gets a reprieve. And despite, their poor SU record, they've been in the thick of the battle their last six games. Five SU losses by a total of fifteen points and no single loss was greater than four. So, in a way, this team reminds me of the kid who makes four D's and one C on his report card but is voted the kid most likely to succeed. Iowa's impressive wins in their last game and previous large win/cover against Georgia Southern only seems to inflate the publics perception of Iowa as a team worthy of respect. Maybe they are, but in this matchup, I'm gonna' side with the weaker kid who's full of fight...right to the very end.
