I've never had a losing season posting my plays on this site...but because of some horrible luck like getting beat because the opposition makes a 62 yd fg at the end of the game or your team fumbles inside of the opponents 10 inside 3 minutes with the lead only to lose the game at the end etc I've had a losing season. I havent posted my plays for the past couple of weeks but have gone 5-1 in Jacks contest and I'm starting to warm up :mj07:


Anyway...I Pounded the $#@% out of this play because It will save my season and I can't see any way it will lose.

Washington +11 over the G-Men...IF the G-men get out of Washington with a win...it won't be by more than 10...Redskins spoil the Giants season and send Tom Coughlin packing for good!
Washington 24 NY Giants 23

Baltimore Ravens +0.5 over Bills...The Ravens need this win and a SD loss to clinch home field...the Bills playoff hopes ended with a home loss to the Titans last week...just a hunch this one gets ugly!
Baltimore 27 Buffalo 9

Denver -1 over Niners...Denver needs a win to get in...the Niners have overachieved this season and were exposed for what they are by the Cardinals last week.
Denver 27 San Francisco 19

i always mention this to you, but you handicap the games all to cover the original spreads yet you bet a 10 point teaser?

teasers are always a waste of money in the long run

The Ravens arent waking up Sunday expecting the Chargers to lose. They may well win but it wont be because they have the mindset of playing for something.

And cant Denver get in wihtout a win? They may well have clinched a spot before they even kick off.

i'm pretty sure den clinches a win if jax beats kc in an early game. i took a small parlay (jax with sf) pays almost 11/1. think shanahan will play a vanilla game if jax wins the early game and they have already secured a playoff berth.

what does a 3 team 10 point teaser pay? even money or so?........a terrible long term payout....

70% winners on those = 20% winners on standard 3 team parlays

both are bad payout props but the teaser is a worse payout % over the long term

I realized the majority of the times teams you picked in a teaser would have won against the spread anyways. Monitor it for yourself to see. It was a good lesson I learned.:shrug: If you look at your scores for the games you would see they cover the spread anyways.:shrug:

If I would have played all 3 of the games that I have in the teaser straight out or in a parlay I would have already lost the parlay :scared and would need both Denver and Baltimore to cover the spread to win 2 out of the 3...now that I covered the Wash game I just need Balt and Den to win their games.

Plus I don't always play just teasers...every week I put together a 4,5 or 6 game parlay and put a little change on it because of the great payout for a small wager...I also play a couple games vs the spread or on the moneyline if I feel they will cash my ticket.

It's all about finding a way to win and this week a huge chunk of my money is on the teaser because I have the most confidence in the play.
