The military reported the deaths of six more American troops, making December the deadliest month this year for U.S. forces in Iraq. At least 2,998 members of the U.S. military have been killed since the Iraq war began in March 2003, according to an Associated Press count.

I do believe Bush is bothered by every casualty. It's a real shame that used the popularity of 9-11 to make such a grave and ridiculous decision of invading a nation that had never done much of anything to us. If he wasn't such an ignorant and inexperienced leader or maybe if he'd ever seen battle himself - perhaps he would have thought things through a little more thoroughly. It went against all good strategy. Now we have a daily death and casualty count that is truly heartbreaking.

I have been holding this in for some time now.

He served in Bosnia, 2 1/2 tours in Iraq.

Shot twice in war time, received many of medals.

yet, killed in action by road side bomb.

what does he get for that?

Our freedom, according to every American i speak to.

Dude, that's too heavy of a decision for my input. What are her feelings about all this, by the way? Is she a believer in the war? Has her opinion changed as a result of everything that's happened?

a most serious question Padre--Maybe if you had asked him while he was alive- what make a person despite-being wounded mulitple times--being heroic and continue to put his life on line for whatever cause--you would know the answer to --what did he get from that.

People like your brother-in-law are what has made our country what it is since inception. We should thank the good Lord every day we have such courageous men defending us.

Padre fortunately for me i havent lost anyone yet to this bullshit war but my feelings are the same as yours. this war has absolutely nothing to do about freedoms and everything to do with war profiting. A child could follow this money trail but people just refuse to. Im sure a lot of people would vote for these assholes again if they had the chance. people from around the war laugh at us on how stupid we are. A lot of people just on spite would vote for him again just because he is a republican. Sorry for your loss.

Sir, you will be eating those words once we find the Weapons of Mass Destruction.:dizzy:

Hopefully, we won't get attacked here at home while we are establishing Democracy in the Middle East for the next 100 years.

Man, I must really hate America and our freedom. Sorry to beat you to it Tenzing.

I'm only interested in one more funeral that Bush should be attending.

I still hold hopes he will be caught and tried for war crimes and dropped though the floor with a rope around his neck.

and spytheweb and his lemmings are ecstatic today.....there was much rejoicing in leftist circles.....it's 3000 death day! ....break out the placards and the paper mache heads!!....

here's a "grim milestone" for the press: since the msm is in all respects fifth columnists and have done everything to encourage our enemies to kill our soldiers(videos of snipers, divulging classified documents and info on a regular basis, abu gharaib phootos and stories ad infintum)i`d say that the msm is responsible for X number of deaths in iraq.....

btw, where`s mr christo with his moral relativism argument?.....you know how he likes to compare the number of deaths the jihadi`s are responsible for on 9/11 with trip and fall accidents, drunken drivers, bowel blockages etc.....

he`s mia on this one....shocking...

Weasal man this is so flat out wrong. To think any person would be happy about this number makes me wonder if you are capable of deciphering the shit your neocon masters feed you. Dude i can eat i lot of bull but i think you are gonna eat a lot of crap after that ridiculous post. You have families grieving all over american and you somehow think because people like Rush and Hannity feed you this bullshit, that people are partying around the country because our solders are dying in milestone numbers? This kind of thinking is absolutely bizarre.

Sponge, you ever think that guys like Weasel are happy about the deaths of our soldiers so that they can say things like "we must stay the course so they didn't die in vain" or some other totally dumb BS?

Stevie there is a time when you have to put party lines aside. What they did to kerry right before the election showed they will stoop to no low. For someone to believe this kinda crap makes me wonder if anything some of these neocons say will be bought hook line and sinker. Maybe i guess because their are some in their party that could stoop so low guys like Weasal thinks the Dems will sink this low. Unfortunately for our country the scum always seems to rise to the top. Hopefully this is over but im not to sure. As for what you said about stay the course? No man they believe this shit. That is what is so frightening. To have a brain that can be shaped just like playdo, to believe anything. Go look at the bottom of Freeze post. He still believe Kerry was insulting the troops. This kid is allegedly trying to become a doctor. My goodness.
