Pretty shameful that neither of these schools even sold their ticket allotments for this game. Especially considering these 2 fanbases may be the most vocal in the country in claiming devotion to their teams. Apparently a mer 5 or 10 bucks can get you a 40 yard line ticket right now.....

On to the game.......Expecting an easy winner here....

I am scared about this game having two starting linebackers out and a really good backup running back averaging a touchdown every 14 carries, plus people have been able to run and run and run on this team many times this year.... suks to have 2 bigtime defender's out and a back who has looked better then Irons at times this year... Bunch of fuk ups!

I went to Dallas for the first time for an interview downtown and it was deserted. It seemed like half the buildings where desolate. I went there again for the OU game and it would have sucked with out the game being there. So the two times I have been there it sucked... all the suburbs killed that city.

But you are right the Cotton Bowl sucks

FYI There is ongoing talks about moving the Cotton Bowl game to the new Dallas Cowboy stadium in Arlington, possibly starting in 2010.

Texas/OU game would be moved there as well but it is not official yet.

Yes, Oklahoma is one who wanted the home and home deal but Cotton Bowl head honcho have been fighting it a great deal....and have succeeded so far but its only a matter of time. The new stadium will not be built in time for it and Texas/OU probably would be home and home.
