C Kirk Walters (Mononucleosis) is out indefinitely. - 12/20
WASHINGTON
C Joe Wolfinger (Stress Fracture) is probably out for the season. - 12/22
C Joel Smith (Foot) is expected to be out at least until mid-January. -
prince and walters basically havent played all year......without walters ua is a bit lacking in depth at the 4-5 but they have played all year that way.....prince played about 1 min this year, in the opener at uva when shakur fouled out and actually took the game winning shot (which he missed)....no loss there
as for uw, smith should be in their mix but not a big loss for this game and the other guy wasnt even in their plans
uw needs this game bad to avoid an 0-3 start and virtual elimination from the conf title.....they will have an advantage up front and with the home crowd.....if the refs get whistle happy early and get m williams or worse radinovich 2 early fouls it could be over as uw's bigs will have a field day.........that said uw's guards are totally inconsistant this year and prone to to's......think it's an up tempo game and wouldnt really want to lay a ton either way or on the over at 170.....but of couse i have to wager and have arizona as they are playing very well right now, sharing the ball, and enjoy playing with each other............
