one the least anticipated title games in forever
seems like college football should have ended many moons ago, yet all of a sudden we still have a game to play.....and it's the title game?
ohio state and their band of myopic fans vs the sec and the conf of myopic fans
and somebody has to win?

i have no idea who i even want to root for (probably fla) who id rather see lose (both), or where my money should be (over)
great cases can be made for both sides to win straight up and to cover (isnt osu a covering machine) but historical trends in bcs title games say the #2 ranked dog is the better bet and fla defense might actually make a few plays and osu will finally see a team that has equal or greater speed all over the field.

Favorite is something like 2-8 in the last 10 years in champ. game SU (correct me if I am wrong, doing this on the fly) & FL. played a much tougher schedule. Dont think OSU has been tested this year (except Mich-who looked like shit last week) Like Fl + points for the above and other reasons...just my take

I think he wants me to die a cell phone recorded hanging, and his high dollar lawyering gig has impeded his ability to catch on to this gag.
I hope both teams excecute well, and we get a good game tonight.

I have always felt that if the public (which may or may not be wrong) likes the the dog then just play the over. You are always going to think the favorite is going to score. If that happens then if the public is talkin Florida then just take the over since both teams are going to score.
It does seem like most are talking Florida. All i have been hearing is Florida's speed, tricky plays, and more speed. Troy Smith did win the trophy this year, didn't he.
The problem win this game is you could see either team win and it would not surprise you. Add the score to that also - it could be high scoring or low scoring would it really surprise anyone of us at all ?

I'm hesitant to post this kind of information anymore because it would upset me if I knew someone based a large play based on what I'm relaying to you and lost as a result.
But as this is the final College FB game of the year, here goes.
My primary job is that of a NY City Fireman but on the side I dabble in everything from selling computer supplies to working for a "local" here in NY City. This local deals STRICTLY with financial district employees. Almost all of them are brokers. If I told you what these guys wager, you'd think I was shitting you,so I won't even bother. What they wager though has no direct correlation to winning because 9 out of 10 are what my employer calls suckers.
I was asked if I could come in "all day" today for the big game. I took a personal day, went in at 10 and just got back home.
All day long we wrote Ohio State. Every thing that came in was Ohio State this and Ohio State that.
My "employer" refused to budge off the line and at the time I left today, he was so one sided on Ohio State, you'd laugh and say Bull Shit if I told you how much.
Now this does not in any way mean that Florida is the play tonight. But....what I can offer you is this, when these guys all load up like they are doing today, ... you know how it usually ends.
As far as the total, well, we ALWAYS get swamped with over play. This game is no different.

I had Florida 28 - OSU 20, but after seeing tom posting the "L" word and that Beantownjim is on the gators.... I'm a little concerned. :scared

Hey guys, hope all is going good as we finally get the championship game tonite!

1) Bad Format... it is 51 days since Ohio St.'s last game... thats too long for any reason, the powers that be should make sure this game gets played sooner...
2) I think both coaches are very good, you may give Tressel a slight edge as he has been coaching at this level for longer, but Meyer knows what he's doing...
3) Both teams are talented, or they wouldn't be here... sounds obvious, but some people are talking like Florida's got nothing going for them...
4) Both teams have lots of seniors, should handle the pressure well... I do like Smith's consistency better than Leak's, Smith less likely to turn the ball over than Leak I think...
5) There will be trick plays... to go against season-long trends and throw the defense off, and they may change the outcome of the game...
In a game that will have some drama and be closer than alot of Big 10 fans think... I think Troy Smith finds a way to pull it out w/scramble or big pass to Ted Ginn...

In an honest world Ohio State just drills this silly overrated team. In an Honest world Miami should have just drilled Ohio State a few years back but the refs stepped in and changed the outcome. Is tonight gonna be an honest world? Not sures o i will go under and not big at that.
