Anyone have a feeling on this game...haven't seen either team play but leaning Gonzaga after looking at the past history between these 2 teams - 9-1 ats last 10 matchups. Thoughts are appreciated.
I took Gonzaga in the first half. They at least play some defense. Hopefully Pepperdine starts off cold, but they can score. Gonzaga usually starts games hot and plays up tempo. Pepperdine is up tempo all the time trying to outscore the opponent.
I have Gonzaga -9.5 for the first half. I think they jump out early and then hold on to cover the first half.
Hope you followed. I took Zags -7 in the second half. Pepperdine will shoot better, but they can't get anywhere near the basket. Even when they get inside they shy away. Coach Few will not have his wings help on drives anymore so there will be numerous steals on kickout passes when the penetrator has nowhere to go.
This will get to the number quickly..then sit at it for awhile...Pepperdine will tire and they are in some foul trouble..and zags will win by 22 or 23. When the game slows down at the end Zags will score at the end of every shot clock....Pepperdine can't stop half court defense. Hope this is right!
