Marist -18 over Iona **
I have waited for this game for a long time.The line at -18 really threw me off this year after Iona goes 0-13.Foxes have put this rematch game on there minds since last year in the semi-finals of the MAAC.Marist thought they could win the trip to the big dance.Iona trounced them 100-84 and talked smack throughout the game. Dunking,showboating,etc...I know Tony Marino who does the play by play for the Foxes and doing it tonite on TV.They have thought about iona since last march.Brady has been classy but if you read between the lines he's upset.
I'm not crazy about the 18 pts though.Jordan and whittington are a great gd tandem. One leads the nation in assits and the other is 5th in 3 pt shooting. Smith the 7'0 gd has owned Iona lyr in 2 games.Iona is last in the country in about 4 or 5 catogories.Ruland who got thrown out of the Loy Md game last week can't coach.Brady will have his foxes in gear tonite. they are 22-1 since they moved the bleachers under the basket. They are 7-0 at home.iona has 2 guys avg double d's and they both are avg players.foxes win by 20.
Niagara -6.5 over Fairfield **** strong play
Fisher and Brown can score.Purple won a few in a row and then hit Siena.If Purple could play just a little defense they would be good but...they can't.The good news is the Stags aren't very good.Nero the frosh is solid but they don't have any chemistry.Stags are 0-8 on the rd.Purple should win this by 10 or more.Have a lot more but no time...
Siena -7.5 over Loy md *
toughest game to capp.Saints are on a roll.Haddix comes back after sitting out lyr and has becaome an impact player.This 6'6 lefty inside is a force.Saints have won all there games by double d's.Hasbrouck is solid at the gd.They have won 9 str MAAC games.McCafaffarty got thrown out of the Niagara game but they still won by 9.Ubiles the frosh from Poughkeepsie who lives 1 mile from Marist scored 12 pts in the Purple win.Loy has Brown who is a stud.Tuck and sullivan are solid. Fofano is out tonite.Think this is a close game and then..the saints go marching in..

Thompson played terrible at marist friday nite. Peter is hurting.They have no one inside to stop the 6'10 Thompson.Should win this by double digits
