Have been doing pretty good all week....then Saturday comes...I see so many games,its like a kid in the candy store window.I want to buy so many different candies...and at the end of the day...I'm sick...I don't have the discipline to be smart...I did capp some of these games all week and updated some stats...I like to stay home and do the MAAC,Conf USA,BE,Sun,and Colonial...I'll list some games and come back later to explain a few...Not in any order..
Hoftra -5 over Northeastern ***
Hof on the rd beat Drex and NC-Wilma in OT.I watched the DREX game.Auguido is amazing.can't believe I'm saying this but he's better then Stokes.Hof has 3 good gds.Gadley the big 6'9 260 pounder has really improved.Hof has no frontline.But Pecora has these guys playing together.NE has no frontline either. They have one good fd in Davis and then 2 or 3 gds that just avg in double d's. They rank in the 300's in offense,FG%,and 3 pt%.Also there biggest problem is rebounding.Think the Pride can win this by 6-10 pts on the rd.They are 6-0 ats in last 6.Stokes is considered one of the most underated gds in the country.He's 1st team CAA,etc but again Auguido is a stud and playing better.
Nova +3 over Cuse **
Think this game goes down to the wire.Sumpter and co know Jimmy Boes number. lyr they beat them by 15 and 10 up in the dome.I think Nova could win this straight up.
North Car -4.5 over Vir Tech ****
No way this game is close.Think everyone is thinking the Duke upset.Line looks to good to be true.Seth has done an unreal job with VT..but NC has to many greyhounds. Think this game stays close and many Blue fans will be getting nervous..but with 6 minuts to go...Tyler and co take charge.
ODU -2.5 over Drexal **
Think ODU frontline of vasyluis and dahi give Drex matchup problems because they can play inside and outside. I like ODU's gds also.drex has to be down after suffereing OT loss to Hof.
Houston -6.5 over Smoo *
William&Mary -3 over Del **
NC-Char -1 over richmond **
URI-St Joes Over--139 URI is 12-3 in over games. They are the only D-1 team to have two 3 pt shooters in the top 15 in FG%. Barons "running rams" can score.But they cannot stop anyone either.
Fresno -8 over San Jose St ***
Need help on this game.I like fresno big here.Not as much with stats..I know they got hammered by the Bows,have played a lot of home games, and not to impressive with home wins but...they have a lot more talent.. My numbers are off. i have Bulldogs at -10 to -12.
Xavier -5 over St louie *
Boise St -3 over New Mex *
Pitt -5.5 over Georgetown ****
UConn -6 over Johnnies ****
