i read a blurp in the cnn/si website that according to fox sports.....

The Raiders are preparing to make a run at Michael Vick, according to NFL sources. The Raiders package would include receivers Randy Moss and Jerry Porter plus the No.1 overall pick in the 2007 draft for Vick and the Falcons first round pick (10th overall).

if i was the falcons i would trade vick in a minute...i would take porter, the #1 pick, & somebody else...but not moss. i think moss is a cancer to any team that he plays for....

It figures that then only team stupid enough to even consider taking Michael Vick is that stupid old no nothing Al Davis. hasnt he learned his lesson about picking up mallcontent players with no interest in actually winning, juft huge payoffs.
Say it isnt so Kenny Stabler

Vick definitely needs a change of scenery but personally I wouldn't want him on my team. Not to play QB anyway...

If I was ATL I would be all over this trade. They won't be getting many opportunities like this to unload him.

he's cancer just like T.O.

:iagree:
AR, please tell me your joking. If they pick this clown up, I will have to root for another team. First Aaron Brooks and now Vick, DAMN! Been a fan since I was 8 years old but may have to abandon them. Al Davis:fingerc:

If I was Atl. I'd make that trade in a heartbeat and
then dump Moss to the Lions, they need more
receivers :mj07:
Might be able to get their first round pick as well.

Al, is this true? I wouldn't put anything past Oakland, didn't they get enough of running shitty quarterbacks with Brooks?

I know a guy that cooks for Jerry Porter, supposedly he is a really nice guy, not like Moss at all, then again I think he has worn out his welcomed in Oakland. I've read people in Atlanta really like that backup quarterback.

Every teammate i ever heard talk about Moss it was nothing but good positive things. Im not sure why he gets this bad rap. You sure its not the media that has made you all believe Moss is a bad guy? Sshamrock you say you heard Porter was a nice guy but the media tried to turn him into a villian. Lets not forget what Al Davis did to the end of Marcus Allens career. I saw Warren Sapp in an interview and they asked him about Moss. Sapp said he was one of the best teammates he ever had.

....it would be almost impossible to trade vick considering the salary cap hit the falcons would take......He will be riding the bench by mid season next year.:sadwave:

Falcons can not trade him.... cause then its an admission they have made an error in centering their entire organization around him for so many years..:nono:

That's kinda like do you want to die by hanging or firing squad. Trading cancer for cancer. I don't care either way because that trade does not make either team better. They'll both be watching the playoffs on tv next year.

Free you would be surprised how many teams in sports do this stupid thing you are talking about. the phillies have done it for years and finally got a new GM and he bench some of these wasted salaries and let the kids play and its worked out very well. they have one more bum to get rid of and no one wants him. they benched him a lot last year.
