the wcc was turned upside down on saturday by 2 upsets... so lines are a bit more favorable as teams are starting to jockey for position for conference tourny.
san diego +13 they are a team that will give zags fits...
st. mary's -13 lmu fought real hard vs. s.c. but gaels should dominate here...
OVER 131.5 s.f. and portland, neither of these shit teams are going anywhere. i don't expect any defense tonite...

i can see a backdoor cover as waves are a pesky team... santa clara is a slow prodding team (big) that lacks firepower. if waves get a lead, s.c. will have a tough time covering the 8/9 points...

the more i watch san diego, the more im starting to warm up to them. i think brandon johnson is one of the best kept secrets out west. my main concern, and its a big one esp against gonzaga, is that they are horrible on the glass. they got annihilated by saint marys on the boards and its only going to get worse against the zags. toreros are just really soft inside. derogatis and johnson can fill it up but they arent going to get a whole lot of 2nd chance pts.

dont agree that frisco is garbage. theyve lost a ton of close games. and playing with kellogg is a huge loss. once they get him back, i will give them a shot against almost anyone in the conf on a neutral floor -- specifically the wcc tourney.

Johnny, is Samhan ok for St. Mary's? I saw that he only played 9 minutes last game. Can't find any injury info. on him. I'm assuming the limited minutes might have been due to Pepp's style of play but just wanted to check and see if you knew for sure.

Hooked on that SF total as Portland misses a FT with .8 left that would've forced OT. Thought we were golden needing only four pts in a 66-62 game with 1:30 left.
