All my god!! I finally had a winning day. I almost hit both best bets, but got a push as I had Rider -1 and they won by a point. I guess I was one point away from a decent night or one point away from another losing night. I am due for some breaks to go my way. Fairly small schedule tonight, here is what I have come up with.
I should start considering first half plays. I cannot believe how many times I look at scores at halftime and think to myself ?this is going to be a very good night? only to lose. Maybe tomorrow???
N Iowa -3.5 vs Wichita State (best bet)??????.I don?t think this Wichita St team is a good as people may think. I have had some luck with N Iowa as well. I think N Iowa is the slightly better team and you are getting them at home and only laying 3.5. Home court the deciding factor in this one.
Syracuse -3 vs Notre Dame (best bet)????Many good cappers on Cuse tonight and I agree. Notre Dame living off reputation, they are a solid team, but not a great team and they are usually exposed on the road. Syracuse on the other hand has finally brought their program back up close to where it used to be. They are not there yet, but they are headed in the right direction. A win over a highly regarded Irish team will help the cause. Like the above game, two pretty even teams and you are getting the home team laying only slightly more than a bucket.
Florida St -2.5 vs Maryland (strong play)???I see a pattern developing here. Two fairly equal teams again, taking the home team and not laying very much at all. Florida St a much different team at home, while Maryland really struggles on the road.
Illinois -3 vs Michigan (strong play)???..just read the above plays for an explanation.
Mississippi -2.5 vs Mississippi St (regular play)???..see above.
Illinois St -3.5 vs Evansville (regular play)???..see above.
I might not go 6-0 (no kidding!), but with these small home favs I at least see a winning night with a chance of a pretty good night. I think the odds are in my favor tonight.
