kobe was trying to draw a foul. he flings his arms out all the time like that. i'm not saying its right what he does, but he didnt walk up to someone and sucker punch them in the face. i'm not saying the knicks didnt have it coming but that is why the suspensions are what they are. its debatable whether or not kobe should have even gotten a suspension, it was unintentional.
yea sure...kobe pre-meditated his action in .2 seconds while trying to catch the ball in mid-air and shooting it in the hoop, meanwhile he was thinking about how to knock out Manu...give me a break...

you guys haven't watched too many lakers games, have you? kobe does this all the time. he always tries to create contact with guys to draw fouls. he flings his arms out after he shoots, does anything he can. it was a desparate moment and he made a desparate play trying to draw the foul. you really think kobe has it in for ginobli and just couldnt wait to whack him in the face? come on
