The lines makers new Cusworth would not play in this game before the season started. I think Columbia is the better team even if he was playing. Some talk about this guy like he was great. He was an above average Ivy Player.

doubtful. i highly doubt teams are faxing their player academic transcripts to vegas so that the line can accurately reflect the players on the floor.

I saw a couple of posts by IE last week about that being Cushman's last weekend with Harvard, so yes I am sure Vegas knew he was done.

I don't think everyone just found out about it today.

there was no "steam" on this game. As IO mentioned, , this game drew in some fairly important players........ that made me look at it.

Sure they did, but they weren't sure what the effect would be. They open with PK and then quickly move the line based on initial money. Since the off shore limits on overnight lines is low, they don't risk big exposure and they let some of the "sharps" help them set the line. The line has settled and will probably close at Columbia -2 when the recreational bettors get home from work and find out about the situation.

Either that or the big syndicates found out Harvard's q-factor is in the the red.

I'll stand by what I said. Anyone who follows the Ivy , this was old old news, not even news but something that was put away on a shelf before the season started.

I'm hardly a sharp, but I knew Cusworth would be done after last weekend back in early November. It was pretty well publicized, at least in Ivy League media. Line seemed pretty off to me based on that.
