NFL Regular Season -- Even
NFL Playoffs - down 1 unit

Well so much for money management - I will be making my biggest football play this season on the Super Bowl, and I'm really not too worried about it - in my opinion this game is too easy and I'm not missing the opportunity to cash in - I still have the $$ necessary for this play in one of my outs from CFB and picked up over 8 units in CBB yesterday, so I won't be in a bad position if the ball bounces really funny today and the wrong side ends up covering

On to the play:

I am absolutely astonished that the consensus on this game seems to be that the Bears will cover - wondering if any gamblers bothered to watch any of the playoffs this season? The teams that INDY dispatched of (KC, BALT, NE) were all BETTER than this Bears team - people seem to forget that the AFC was clearly the dominant conference this year - Bears bearly (pun intended) beat a severely banged up and depleted Seahawks squad to make it to the NFC CH game and followed that up by beating the not ready for prime-time Saints - hardly an indoctrination into greatness -

Meanwhile the Colts have finally made it to the Big Game - find it hard to believe that they will let this opportunity slip by and find it even harder to believe that the Bears will be the team to take it away from them - this team has been battling to get here for years now, and to a man they know their legacies will be severely tarnished if they don't grab this one today - and say what you will about Peyton (I've probably said it before myself) this guy has the respect and admiration of his teammates and they want to win it for him just about as badly as they want to win for themselves

Sometimes in a big game such as this one you have a fave that is overconfident and comes in giving the dog little respect - that is a recipe that leads to upsets - in this game the hungrier team is the fave, while the dog has already satisfied many of its goals - the Colts will be crushed if they lose this game, the Bears will say "hey we made it to the SB and maybe next year we can win it"

Colts all business today and I believe they cruise to the win - after the game when it becomes a Peyton lovefest Bears backers will wonder what in the hell they were thinking

30 Unit Play INDIANAPOLIS COLTS -6.5

Play it or fade it - gl either way

LA - i have been waiting awhile to get in on this one, and i think u have said it best.

A few weeks ago, everyone was saying "I am taking the AFC regardless of who goes, and regardless of line."

I too like to get the points , because it looks good, but remember this is a team that was been undefeated twice deep into season. this is a team that was been to playoffs numerous times.

This is a team that has not had easy schedules and still posted great records.

Just short of the lapse of defense this year, this is their only weakness.

The question here is what type of QB will we get in Grossman, there is no question on what type of QB we will get in Manning.

If this is a regular season game , everyone would be on Indy, at probably -10.5.

The only difference here is neutral field and PRESSURE.

Trust me Manning has been in far too many of these PRESSURE games. Grossman has not.

I mean ,come on, the fans were calling for Greise earlier. Grossman will fold. Manning will jump all over the Bears.

I am with u Indy -6.5

And for some giggles taking half unit on them at -10.5

SB doesn't interest me 1 bit w/ the Saints falling short. Under the adjusted total and Indy 1Q -.5 look appealing.

I figure Indy O will not operate on all cylinders outdoors. Also, I look for Bears to run, run , run. Benson in 1H, and Jones in 2H.

1Q Indy looks nice b/c the Bears will come out slowly on offense. I can see them feeling their way into the game by pounding Benson to soften up the Indy front 7, while Manning and co. will come out blazing.

GL to you too CIE - will be tough for Bears to run, run, run when they fall behind 2 scores!

Like Indy 1q, Indy 1h and Indy!

Our buddy, Peyton, may have a tough time completing timing routes in 20-30MPH gusts as the game wears on. Final score, Indy 23-13.
