bears def is not what it was before th injuries..next year they will be very strong on def again if healthy.they will be a fave in the nfc if they pick up a qb.what grosmann showed in the superbowl was pathetic, hes nothing but a backup.....NOW,who is out there for the bears to pick up.anybody know if they have cap space and whos this years free agent qbs....THEY WILL not win with a turnover prone qb.a delhome type qb can put them over the top........I SAY BYRON LEFTWICH,who has fallen out of favor in jacksonville.this guy can bring them back to the superbowl if the nfc stays as weak as it is...they will not be back with grossman, the team pulled for him all year, dont think they stay behind him next year

in my opinion, I think they'll stick with grossman for at least one more year. Granted the guy had a bad game tonight and handfulls of other games like it during the season....but he also showed some flashes of being pretty good.....this was also his first full year remember. I think chicago will give him one more year to get his play a lot more consistent before they pull the plug on him. If he can't take this "run" to the SB and all of the experience he gained from it and use it to become a consistently good QB by next year, I think then the Bears will know that he isn't their guy and look in a different direction.

I don't think they will because the organization has had such a bad stretch with no centerpiece at QB since like forever.....I think they will give Grossman every chance to show something next year before they once again have to look for the QB of this team. I honestly don't think he is the guy but maybe he takes all of the experience from this year......good and bad and proves me wrong.

NO way they stick with that guy, if they do, they should fire the coach and the gm.

I agree with you Bryanz horrible idea to stay with Grossman but I'd bet that's what they do. IMO, with their track record they at least give him a shot early next year.

If Al Companis had a voice in the Rex Grossman call he would say : Rex may not have some of the necessities to be a QB.:SIB

It was pretty obvious last night thet Grossman is out of his league and should not be a starting QB in the NFL. His decision making is almost as bad as his passimg ability. He seems to just chuck it up when he feels any pressure. Bad ball placement with alot of his throws. He is not champion caliber.

Why is everyone so quick to run Rex out of Chicago? This was his first full season as an NFL starter, and the bears made it to the super bowl. Sure there were times he didn't look great, but cut the guy some slack.

If Jay cutler does the same thing for the Broncos as rex next year and plays great in some games, plays bad in others, but leads them to the super bowl and doesn't have a great super bowl, is everyone going to be jumping all over him, saying the broncos need to go another direction, I doubt it.

I say give Rex one more year and if he doesn't show any improvement then it's time to move on, but you have to give the guy a chance.

If Rex was the guy who moes my lawn. I'd give him one more yr. He is standing in the way of a championship. Don't let the Bears become the Cubs. Don't wait till next yr, make the move.

There are some basic instincts that Grossman is missing, that are not teachable... Either you have it or you don't. Grossman showed last night that he cannot improvise. If they call a play and it doesn't work, he does not have the quick thinking to improvise. Look back to the Saints game. The first quarter was ending and he had no awareness of the clock... it is little stuff like that which can change a game. He is just like Joey Harrington... the skill is there, but that is it. This stuff is not teachable, either you have it or you don't.... Grossman doesn't have it
