Purple have dominated this series but after watching NU beat Manhattan on sunday I'm not so sure about this team.They can score with Fisher,Brown,and co.There defense has improved but these guys have the lowest basketball IQ of any team in the MAAC.Very talented but unreal passes at key times.Dumb fouls and god forbid an offensive foul. I saw Crawford of Manhattan drive thru the middle and 3 Niagara players could of helped there beaten buddy but no one wants to draw an off foul.and this was when under 2 minuts and NU was down 2 or 3.
Griffs are dangerous and have some talent but they let Rider beat them by 10 . NU is No 1 in offense,Griffs 8th,defense Griffs are 5 to NU's last 10th.FT % NU is No 1 shooting 75% comapred to can whose 9th at 63%.3 pt %,rebounding,NU is No 1. . In 14 MAAC games NU has hit 123 3's - Can 81..

Hofstra + 8 over ODU **
Hof has no inside game where ODU has Vasyluis[had 29 pts in 1st game] and Dahi at 6'7.They have 2 solid gds that can score and dish, But Hof has that trio of Riveria,Aguido and Stokes.Those 3 can break down anyone with there dribble and shoot.Stokes has the best mid-range jumper in the country.He can dribble full speed, stop on a dime, and nail the 10 ft shot...or 6 ft shot.I think this game is close to the end and the Pride can win it outright.Hof beat them 70-58 in 1st game.Hof doesn't have a great rd record losing to Delaware by 4,Northeastern by 10, but Pecora will keep this close...ODU has been beating teams pretty bad at home..VCU,etc..
Ohio +10 over Akron * love those Ohio fds. Zips win but under the number
Tenn -3 over Kentucky ** Lofton back
Tenn Tech -5 over Tenn- Martin **
off the beaten path game but this Tech team plays uptempo and avgs 73 pts a game.Martin plays motion and doesn't have the talent to stay with TT.TT won by 8 the 1st time.
