I would like to see a "blind taste test" for all nominees in the '08 race.

No name, no party, no affiliations. Just a list of the major (let's say top 20) issues and where they stand.

This could also be done in a survey-type test that would predict who is the best candidate for you after answering questions.

Is there a site like this? It would be difficult to design the back-end logic to make it unbiased, but I think it would be very intersesting.

On second thought, I would hate for my result to come back that I would vote for Hillary. ;)

These results may have damaging effects on people's entire sense of self-worth.

What if pujo came back as a Bush supporter? Or DTB as 100% behind Barrack.

That would be a trip.

Better yet. What if you had to fill out a survey like this, and the result was automatically who you voted for.

the candidates would never do it.

They count too much on people not knowing what they stand for much less what they really believe.

we find that out once they are in.

Guilliani.....................

Guilliani.....................

The most frightening thing about him to me is his exclamation of "Thank God George Bush Is Our President". Most of America.even those that were ignorant of how stupid and incompetent the Dumya really was now know their error. Guilliani evidently ain't seen the light. So if u want 4 or 8 more years of America spiraling downward ..there's ur man !!

Everytime I think of politicians and "the light", I can't help but think of Rocky and Bullwinkle's Fractured Fairy Tales. I mean Dubya's father saw the light fractured into a thousand different pieces.

Hammer everyone touting this guy has done next to nothing researching him and is hanging on a few days in Sept. He is as bull headed as bush and its his way or the highway. Do we need that all over again? Oh and your so right about his comments during the election. You could bring out about 50 of them that were like Cheneys. Wrong, wrong, wrong , and wrong again. I do think one thing i don't think he would have sit for seven minutes reading to children while the country was under attack. BTW are we still looking for Bin laden? Is there a Bin Laden?

Imagine that.

You guys were able to turn another thread into Republican-bashing.

Simply amazing.

Is that a bash?

That could be considered a compliment by many of the threads' standards here.

Also, the little winky guy is supposed to stand for a little bit of sarcasm.

Already put up Barrack Hussein Omama's voting record previously Dawg--not much in my direction

--used to figure ones voting record was best view their political views--doesn't work well with several anymore--you can't tell if they voted for it before they were against or visa versa :)

This is a pretty ficticious post. There would be many flaws to get past.

I know many people who vote for either party instead of politicians, and I think our country would be better served if it were different.

If someone comes across a site that does this, be sure to post it here.

I like the idea. Lefties would NEVER do it

I like the idea. Lefties would NEVER do it

Would be nice to make them really state
their postions and hold to them.
Lefties would never do it because
they would hate for the country to see what
big socialist they are!

For the record, I still think it would be interesting but probably impossible.

My voting record (32 years old at this point):

1992: Perot
1996: Clinton
2000: Bush
2004: Bush

The reason why I posted this is that at this point I really don't know who I support at this point. The only two candidates that I know much about at all is Hillary and Guilliani.

Hillary does not give me a good feeling about integrity (most politicians don't). I like Bill quite a bit more than Hillary.

And I stand by this:

On second thought, I would hate for my result to come back that I would vote for Hillary.

If you guys are really going to take this as "bashing" then I must have stumbled onto the wrong forum.
