watched the ODU/GM game yesterday..

FWIW..Mason will give VCU trouble today..Mason guards as quick as VCU...Mason a little stronger on the glass..Don't know if fatigue will be a factor today or not..I do know Mason was playing like a team on a mission..They took a 8-0 lead and never looked back..Game was NEVER close.
Total for tonite looks to be 129..I suspect VCU will push from the on set..
More than likely Mason headed to the NIT if they lose...Their is a chance VCU gets a Big Dance bid because they have been penciled in for months..Colonial also has been tabbed for 2 bids despite Conf. ranking..
VCU will have the home crowd..

Mason+ 8 or more will be very enticing..

The info I read on Pellot-Rosa for VCU yesterday was both right and wrong..He did get hurt prior to the Drexel game[vs Ga. St.] and was in fact questionable ..not etched in stone out for the game..Trainers and doctors worked on him and he responded to treatment..then when out and played his ass off..

Pellot-Rosa landed wrong and sprained his arch in Saturday's quarterfinal win against Georgia State. The injury was so painful that VCU certified athletic trainer Todd Craft said nine out of 10 players probably wouldn't have been on the floor.

Pellot-Rosa got ice and electrical stimulation treatments and played with a pad inside his shoe. He received a numbing agent before the anti-inflammatory. That lasted until halftime.

There is nothing in the Richmond Times saying he will not be ready to go tonite.
